I spent the rest of my Sunday evening with Josh. I think he was surprised to see me when I walked in. He must have thought that I was never going to come see him. We didn't do anything but sit around and talk.
At School:
"How was your date with Johnny?" Jody asked as we walked into the school.
"It was nice." I smiled.
"Did you figure out why he always wears that jacket?" She asked.
"Ha, no. I didn't want to just ask why. I kind of threw a hint for him to take it off." I told her.
"Uh-oh. Already?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows.
"Oh God, not that. He was sweating and I said you're sweating alot."
"What'd he say?"
"You make me nervous."
She began laughing but as soon as she seen Johnny she stopped. Johnny walked over to us and smiled. I think he knew we were talking about him because he just grinned at us as we walked down the hall.
At lunch:
"Hey." Johnny said from behind me.
"Hey you." I smiled.
"How's your day been?"
"Good."
I heard JoAnna clear her throat from behind me and I instantly began smiling.
"Hey JoAnna." I exclaimed.
"Don't hey me. Johnny, stay away from her. She doesn't deserve you."
"Well, in that case.." Johnny trailed off. "Hmmm, Tara would you like to go out with me again tonight?" He asked while smirking.
"I'd love to." I beamed.
JoAnna rolled her eyes and stomped away from us.
"What was that about?" Jody asked.
"I asked Tara out again." Johnny smiled.
"Hey, I'll be back I'm going to the bathroom." I told Johnny and Jody before standing up.
As I walked to the bathroom someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me around a corner. I whipped around and seen JoAnna, she still had my wrist so I couldn't go anywhere.
"Look, JoAnna, you need to get the hell off of me."
"Look, Taralyn, you need to back off of my brother. Just because you can't get Josh doesn't mean go for Johnny. He's not into girls like you, I thought I already told you that." She sneered.
"I said get the hell off of me!" I yelled in her face causing her to let go of my wrist. "You're lucky I don't beat the shit out of you!" I yelled again.
I walked away from her and stomped into the bathroom. I looked down at my wrist and there was already a bruise from where she had me. I walked back into the cafeteria, Johnny and Jody looked at me like 'what in the world is wrong with you'.
"Why do you look so mad?" Johnny asked.
"Your sister."
"Isn't it a little late to get mad?" He asked.
"No, she just grabbed my damn wrist and pulled me around a corner to tell me to back off of you. She told me that just because I can't get Josh doesn't mean to go for you."
