Looking for something?

As I came back to the camp from my walk, I see Robin looking under blankets and pillows for something. If he's looking for what I think he's looking for, his knife then he's gonna be looking for a long time. Now one might admit that they have someone's knife right away right? Well obviously not me. When it comes to seeing how long it takes someone to realize that something of theirs is missing its always gonna be the knife for me if the person has one or more knives with them.

"Whatchya looking for Robin?" I ask most likely knowing the answer to the question.

"A knife, my knife." Robin says after looking under his pillow.

"Oh you mean this one?" I take it out from my side. "You know Robin you seriously need to put these somewhere that can't easily be taken."

"How long have you had it?" Robin asks.

"Almost two months actually. Just before I ran off that day into Sherwood when you and Guy were arguing about who knows what I took my chance to see if I can pickpocket from you. And since neither you or Guy seemed to notice, it was pretty easy getting it. So after I grabbed it that's when I decided to sneak off again neither one of you seemed to notice until later." I explained. Robin didn't know what to say after that. So he just looked at me dumbfoundedly and slightly surprised with his arms crossed trying to figure out what to say.

"Has he turned into a statue or something?" Much asks as he's walking in.

"You know I think he did," I answer right away. "He's been looking at me for like that five minutes."

"Was it something that you did?" Djack asked as she comes to the camp.

"He is just now realizing that I pickpocketed from him almost two months ago and doesn't seem to know what to say, so yeah it was something I did. Does anyone else have anything to say to that?" I ask sort of expecting someone to answer.

"You're pretty stealthy for someone your age." Little Jon says.

"I was thinking the exact same thing." Will said.

"Any day now Robin. Or are you too surprised to speak right at the moment?" Robin puts one hand on his side and points to me with the other and takes a quick breath still not knowing what to say.

"Well clearly he hasn't been bested by a 14 year old until two months ago." Jon says.

"Clearly." I say back with a smile on my face. Yeah I'm enjoying this a lot more than I should be but I don't care.

"Do you always do that?" Robin finally asks after who knows how long.

"Sometimes. Either when I want to or if I feel like I have to." I respond.

"Ok you have got to teach me how to do that." Robin says more impressed than mad.

"Alright here's some tips for pickpocketing, you have to be quick, quiet and sneaky, and you have to make sure it's big enough that you can easily put your hands on but not too big that will make any sound, much like a sword. The object has to bee noticeable but not too noticeable to the point to where you don't even realize it's gone, much like a knife. It's really simple when you know how to do it and what your trying to get to when you know what your after." Everyone was quiet after that as of they were trying to remember information for a test. I guess I was talking a little fast as I was explaining.

"What else can this kid do?" Will asked.

"Well I can run pretty fast. Fast enough to out run the black guards. When they aren't on horses." I point out.

"Well that could be helpful considering we do go into Nottingham quite a bit. The running part comes in after the fighting the guards." Will explains.

"That's good to know. The only is, I don't know really how to fight very well."

"Well that takes away my question on if you know how to use a sword." Robin says.

"I do know how to use a bow though." I say right away.

"Robin can teach you how to fight with a sword." Marian says.

"That would be nice." I answer before Robin could say anything.

"Well now I'm supposed to teach a fourteen year old how to sword fight." Robin mumbles.

"Well it's better than teaching a fourteen year old how to get into trouble with the sheriff. And plus it would be good for someone my age to know how to defend themselves with a sword if situations do ever come to that." I say quickly.

"Raelynn does have a point." Djack says.

"And we all know that archery won't always be so helpful in some situations." Jon responds right away. Yup looks like I have no choice but to be taught how to use a sword. That's just great.
