When I came back to the camp, I heard everyone talking all at the same time. As curious as I was I walked up right behind all of them to see if they would notice, which they didn't. All I could hear was singing and young girl. Originally I was planning on getting their attention to tell them they forgot to pick me up last week, but I was too intrigued and entertained about what they were arguing about. Before long everyone became quiet as if they didn't know what to do.
"So off the topic of Robin believing he heard someone singing, I feel like we are forgetting something." Marian said after several minutes. I would speak up but I want to see how long it would take for someone to realize I'm behind them.
"What makes you think we're forgetting something, Marian?" Robin asks.
"Maybe we forgot something inn Nottingham?" Little John suggests.
"Mm no I don't think it would be in Nottingham." Marian says after thinking a little bit.
"Well it might be in Nottingham." Much says sheepishly.
"Much if Marian said not in Nottingham, then she really does mean not in Nottingham." Little John said.
"Then again it could have possibly been left at Locksley for a week longer than what was promised." I said with my arms crossed. Listening to them trying to figure out what they were forgetting was getting ridiculously boring. Everyone turns around looking down at me.
"Figured out what we were forgetting Marian?" Robin said.
"Speak for yourself Robin, you were the one who said you were going to pick me up after three weeks. Four weeks later I'm still waiting like a lost puppy waiting for it's owner to come back for it," I respond right away. "So who was singing again?"
"That's what we're trying to figure out." Will said.
"And here I thought you guys could track anyone all in one day." I say sarcastically.
"Well whoever was singing earlier did have a pretty nice voice. I just wish I knew who it was." Robin said. I have a feeling that this may take a while for them to figure out.
"Well maybe the person may be closer than you think." I say with a big smile as if I knew something.
Early the next day I woke up to Robin saying something in his sleep, and decided to get up. After a few minutes I become later I make food for myself and eat in silence. I am slightly surprised that not even Robin figured out that I was the person singing. As I'm eating, I start quietly humming a song stuck in my head.
After I get done eating I get up to stretch. That's when I start to hear someone stirring in their sleep but no one wakes up. I was almost thinking that someone to wake up. A couple minutes later I hear hoves of horses from a distance away, but didn't sound like they were getting any closer. Not to long later I see Much getting up from his cot.
"Morning." Much whispers as he's stretching.
"Morning." I whisper back.
"How long have you been up?" Much asks.
"I want to say about thirty minutes or so." I say unsure of how long I've been up.
"So really not for very long." Says Much after a few seconds.
