I've been in these cells for a week and I'm the only one down here surprisingly. I thought there would be more people down here. The only way to entertain myself I would sing. It's been the only thing that would distract me from how isolated these cells are. Whenever I heard someone's footsteps I would stop singing. Before I knew it, there was a guard in front of the cell door with food. He didn't do anything, he just stood there as if he didn't know what to do. Before I said or moved, I noticed that he had the keys on his belt.
I grabbed a rock big enough to knock the guard it but small enough to not give him a concussion and throws it at his head. When he fell down, I grabbed the key chain and soon enough I we able to get out. Before I snuck out, I grabbed the roll from the ground and went up the stairs quietly. The guards and Guy were easy to sneak by. But the hardest part was getting out of the doors without any of them noticing. Fortunately there was a large crowd that was going that way and I get into the crowd and puts my hood up like everyone else.
When everyone was out of the castle completely, they started going their own way and I made my way to the forest as quickly as I could without getting caught. As soon as I got into the forest, I take off my hood and try to remember where the camp was. I kept walking hoping that I remembered which way Robin went to take me there, but the sloshy snow only made it harder for me to recognize anything. Before long my feet became numb. After walking for thirty minutes I see a pathway in the slush and I follow it, and to my luck led me to the camp.
As I get to the camp I find that no one is there and realize no one has been here for roughly a couple hours. So while I'm waiting I make a fire so that I can warm up and for everyone else that comes back to do the same thing. The fire is fairly big but not big enough to melt the snow on top. Within ten to twelve minutes I started getting feeling back into my feet. For several minutes I stood in front of the fire trying to keep warm by myself when I started hearing voices. As I look up I see Much and Little John having an argument. They we're too preoccupied to even notice that I was even here, which didn't surprise me. Robin, Marian, Djack and Will all trailed not too far behind John and Much.
I don't know what it is about Much and John arguing, but I always found it amusing. As they walked in they both became silent as everyone else came around the fire. I looked around silently with a smile waiting to see how long it'll take for them to realize that I'm around. No one seemed to even to take notice of how the fire started or how the door even opened they just stood there. I stood there looking at everyone who just stared at the fire as my smile faded.
"Yeah hi nice to see you all and I missed you all to." I say after a minute later.
Everyone looked at me and they all rushed to hug me.
"Raelynn how did you escape?" John asked as everyone parted.
"Guard stupidly had the key to the cell, knocked him out with a rock and one thing led to another here I am." I explained.
"You do realize that the Sheriff is going to flip when hee finds out you've got out." Robin said.
