I'll take my chances

Like everyone else I was getting to head to go to Nottingham. By the time everyone walked out, Robin stepped in front of me preventing me to take another step. I looked up at him with a confused look on my face.

"Something on your mind Robin that you'd like to talk about?" I ask sarcastically.

"Your not going anywhere." Robin says.

I look at him with a bit of a shock wondering why.

"With the fast that I know more where we can sneak around in Nottingham, yeah I am." everyone except Robin seemed to be more intrigued about the secret pathways.

"Doesn't matter Tash, your still not coming. With the circumstances its just too dangerous." Robin answered.

"Sometimes you have to take your chances whether or not the situation is dangerous. If you've lived the way I lived in Nottingham your entire life then you would know every little inch of the place and where all the secret passages are at. So if you expect me to stay here, your guaranteed to get caught by the guards within minutes, I'm your best chance to sneak by them." I explain.

"Robin I hate to say this but I have to agree with her. And she does have a point." Marian said.

I looked at everyone waiting for an answer from all of them.

"I don't know about you Robin, but I choose not to be thrown into the dungeons. And plus the kid also has friends who could help us bypass the guards unnoticed." John chimed in.

"I can't believe I'm saying this but I think we should let Natasha take over this time." Djack right after John and Will agreed.

Robin looked at me with utter disbelief and gave into the idea of me going. He didn't seem to know what to say to me taking over, but didn't waste his time trying to figure that out.

By the time we got to Nottingham there were quite a bit more guards in sight than usual. When I looked to my right I saw someone I knew successfully slipping by without being caught by any of them. I quickly grabbed a small rock and threw it at him. When he looked our way and much to my surprise it was Sammy. I waved him waved him over so that I could talk to him.

"Dude what are you doing? It's dangerous for you to be here." Sammy whispered.

"Yeah I know. I need... well I should say we need help. But we need a safer place so I can explain what's going on." I whisper back.

Before Sammy responds, he looks up and notices Robin. Just as he gets ready to freak out, I put my hand over his mouth stopping him from making any sound giving away our position.

"Sammy place now." I desperately urge quietly as he nods.

As soon as we get to the hideout I take a huge sigh of relief and explain what's going on. While Sammy is processing everything I'm looking around and notice nothing has changed here since I left. No one has even dared to touch my sleeping place.

"I can't believe this place hasn't changed one bit." I say with a smile.

"Well most of us grew up with all this around us, I couldn't think to change anything." Sammy said.

"Most of us meaning everyone who hasn't grown up here like you and I did since we were five years old." I said.

"Well yeah, you know what I meant." Sammy gave in.

Before I got the chance time say anything Jasmine comes in huffing desperately trying to catch her breath. After a couple minutes she plops down, grabs food from her duffelbag and starts eating not paying attention to her surrounding. Robin looks at her not knowing if this is normal while Sammy and I are looking at her waiting to look up.

"You know sometimes I wonder if you ever look around the place to see who's around." I say.

"That's because I know who's here, Sammy and five other people. Lily, Corban,  the twins and Eric." Jasmine says still focused on her food.

"Maybe look up see who's actually standing in front of you." I say.

  "Or what?" she threatens.

  "Jamie!"

"Ok you know what-" she looks up and stares at Robin and the rest of the group with her mouth open.

"Keep your mouth I open your going to catch flies Jas." I say with a playful smile.
