It was sometime around midnight and I had a hard time sleeping. I got up quietly listening to the soft snoringadv and the small voices coming from Robin and grabbed my sheath to try to shoot. I've seen just about everyone shoot so I figured, how hard could it be? When I pulled back the arrow, I wondered if I was aiming at any of the trees and made my shot. I heard the arrow scrape a tree and sad curious if I could hit the tree this time.
I didn't know how long I've been shooting until I started seeing light. I could barely see where most of the arrows were placed on the tree that I've been shooting at for several hours. All the arrows that I could see were all planted next to each other but none of them were split in half by another. I went to get them and put them back into the sheath when I heard a small rustle from one of the bushes. I was more curious than I was suspicious, so I went to the bush to see who or what could have made it. I gently grabbed one of the branches and moved it where I could see only to have some birds flying away hurriedly as if they were expecting to be killed.
After being startled by the birds, I went back to get the rest of the arrows from the tree and tried to find as many of them that didn't hit it. It was still early and no one was awake, at least not yet. When I thought I found all the arrows, I turned around and headed back to the camp which wasn't very far. Once I started seeing the camp, I saw someone who was awake. It's probably Robin, he's typically the first one to be awake. Just as I was walking into the camp, Robin grabbed my pony tail and pulled me to face him which I knew he wanted to talk to me about it.
"Yeah yeah I know I shouldn't have gone out like that late at night." I said casualty.
Robin didn't seem mad or disappointed about it, he just smirked.
"Then why'd you do it?" I tried to think of an excuse but I drew a huge blank.
He must have known I was going do this and quietly laughed. It made me feel somewhat embarrassed and I walked into the camp. I figured that everyone else was still sleep. I didn't lay down to try getting any sleep as I knew that at this point it would be impossible to do so.
A minute later Marian gets up and notices that I'm standing in front of everyone spacing out. Drowsiness was finally starting to creep upon me. It didn't take me very long to snap out of spacing and I knew that it would be a very long day.
"Yeah I know I look tired, I didn't get any sleep last night." i said.
"She decided to practice all night with her bow." Marian nodded finally getting it.
"I'm guessing she couldn't wait very long?" Much asked.
Robin shook his head with the same smirk as he gave me. None of them seemed to be surprised by this. Both Much and Robin went and started on the fire. I would have been surprised if they tried to talk me into trying to go to sleep for a while. Marian talked so i wouldn't end up falling over and sleeping which was good. After ten minutes, food was finally ready and we ate while everyone else slowly came to do the same thing.
