TW here just incase. And yeah, this is an important chapter to catch a view of her origin. K Bye ✌•×¥×•
It was a week after the unnerving night, the sun's radiation seeping through the glass window. Elizabeth could be found on her ideal spot at the house, the patio. Ollie trying to catch warmth against her hand, only for her to swat him away slowly, still in a deep, depressing thought.
"Lyna... Lyna wake up." She shook the child's shoulder, but she didn't bother to move a muscle. It was Elizabeth's little sister... She doesn't speak much of her though. Because you don't tend to bring back up someone who's gone.
The flashback furthered and she caught an image of her oldest sibling. Her brother, Matthew. He was persuading them. To run. To hide. To leave Lyna behind. Much to their disgrace they ran. Ashley stumbled on the cords that where just attached to their bodies monitoring their health.
"Matthew!" Elizabeth shouted. She was only 8 at the time, her legs could only carry her so far before a loud 'BANG' could be heard.
Matthew slowly fell on his back to the cold pavement on the floor, a lake of blood seeping through. He was rasping, the bullet penetrating into his kidney leaving him unbearably uncomfortable.
Ashley stood in front of her sibling as the saw her brothers eyes slowly drain of his life.
"Thought you could get away, huh?" His blue eyes where wide and chaotic. Hair a dark shade of brown against the dawn of light shining through the window.
