Elizabeth's expression lacing in confusion. "i don't understand..."

tylers car casually rolled on the pavemented ground. his eyebrows scrunching together, too in confusion as he saw a young girl no older than the age of 4 running around with seemingly her father on the freshly green lawn.

"and you're positive that this is the house?"

"i never forgot, oliver."

he nodded and pursed his lips. corey groaned in frustration. "guys, I'm hungry, and I gotta pee. can we get going please?"

"i should've brought a diaper if I knew a baby was coming along," tyler mumbled.

corey groaning once again as he looked over at Elizabeth.

"don't look at me! stop complaining."

the red head rolled his eyes dramatically, laying across the seat, his head laying on her lap. Elizabeth's soft and nimble fingers gliding through his hair, lulling him to a calmer state.

tyler drived out of the neighborhood and rounded the corner into a more busier street.

his eyebrows raising in rememberance as he said, "hey lizy, remember Kirsten? Jenna's sister you met at thanksgiving?"

"yeah I think so, she and uncle adopted mercy right?"

"correct." he gestured behind his seat. "reach in the back seat pocket for my phone and give her a call yeah? tell her we'll be crashing at hers."

Elizabeth nodded swiftly before swiping her thumb over the screen, unlocking the phone and dialing her number.

a woman with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes opened the door. she emitted a smile, but something was clearly bothering her. and of course, Elizabeth sensed that,

"Kirsten! hey, thanks for letting us stay here."

she grinned and accepted tyler's hug. "anything for my brother-in-law" she replied, stepping to the side as everyone filed into the modern structure. a curious eyebrow towards the heavily tattooed man a he gave a toothy grin back. "so, whats going on?"

tyler sighed, corey wrapping a reassuring hand around elizabeths shoulder. finding his choice of words correctly, he finally said, "somebody kidnapped jenna."

the womans eyes widened comically. "same to mercy! we called in a amber alert but the station refuses to take in the case." her eyes visibly began to swell in tears. "they wont help me find my baby girl."

tyler pursed his lips together, folding his arms. how in the world will they get over with this?

suddenly, a small tug lulled corey of his trance. he and his girlfriend glanced down to find smooth olive skin hand and big brown eyes. the boy grinned and placed his arms underneath her armpits, lifting her off the ground.

"zion, honey where are your brothers?" Kristen asked, coming over and lifting her from the teens arms. the curly black haired girl pointed a chubby finger outside. also being the direction they where headed. oliver motioned for Elizabeth to stay behind. the girl seeing the gesture and telling corey that she'll catch up soon.
