"You lied to me."
The room feel a deathly silent as the door squeaked his arrival.
"You said she was at the orphanage, and she wasn't." He snarled. "Tell me why you fed me bullshit!"
Matthew stood abruptly, his Adams apple shaking as he swallowed his confidence. Blue eyes wide, and his hands in front of him.
"Look, Dad, it was a misunderstanding. That was months ago, and you finally decide to go after her now! That's not my fault."
He was now inches apart, anger radiating off of his aged features, a boney finger sunk into his dress shirt as he huffed out, "in fact, it is my son. because I put you in charge of finding her, and getting her back home safely. and god knows what kind of people they are to have such a powerful source at just the their finger tips" he grimaced in awe at the thought. but its not going to happen. at least... not yet.
just then, a ocean blue-haired girl poked her head from just around the corner. "Zachary joseph"
they furrowed their eyebrows towards the girl as she grinned, crossing her left leg over the right as se sat down on the cushioned office chair. a vanilla folder in her hands as she handed the information towards the elder man. "her so called uncle. well, one of them." she began, unwrapping a obvious stick of mint gum and thoroughly chewing as she started again, "Matthew met up with him in town square couple months back. he says he's the officer that aid him. FBI, so we have to be careful."
"what's this?" david asked holding up the folder slightly foe emphasis.
"while I was busy finishing the last days on tour, matt managed to bypass her records and updates. looks like she got shot."
"by who?" his eyes narrowed
"Joshua William dun" her facial expression full of malice as she basked in the angered orifice.
"but," matthew chipped in, snatching the file from his calloused hands and flipped through it, knowing his sisters ideas. "the records say she healed incredibly fast. mental stablility is strong, and the care giver was- zarri euphman"
"why is that last part relevant?"
"because," he turned the file, the image of the doctor shocking him, causing him to do a double take, fixing his glasses. "his name is darren forester, sounds familiar, no?"
he snatched the folder "fuck, when did he get here."
"been here since 2010. he brought martin"
"elizabeths' sibling?"
"who else?"
"don't get smart with me boy" he growled. he closed his mouth.
david sighed deeply allowing his hand to roam through his hair mindlessly as he calculated every single situation. it didn't add up.
"how... how the fu- is his mother alive?!"
"yeah, I think"
"i need confirmation not some uneducated guess you fool. Ashley, research the family' , now. Mathew I need more intel. find me anything and everything. were acting fast. if what I think is happening right now, we have to get her back as soon as possible." they nodded and jetted off as he slipped the folder under his arm.
quickly, he looked over both shoulders before placing the palm of his hand along the right side of the laboratory. the door click in recognition and opened. entering the eerie area, he placed the folder down and looked at the black liquid contained in the slim beacon. he's worked so hard to gain that. the simple chemical compound built only for omnipotence. not for him, oh no. for someone, something bigger, better, powerful and deadly. surely the media will be proud of his accomplishment, he's sure of it. though, he cant simply contain it like a cat in a kettle, no. its much more complex, you don't need a cage, you need a mind. a complex, advanced mind at that. a type of mind he tested on and experimented on further than its current capabilities. he craved for more, enough was never enough. only scored for innovative ideas to make the world a better place, and what better way to achieve that goal than the now 16-year-old girl Elizabeth forester,. his precious sapling of youth that could have the eiffle tower tubling down to ruins with a simple glance. his child.
his eyes widened as a red, alerting dot came up on the monitor not far from a 3D projector. he completely forgot about the chip he inserted just days prior to her arrival years ago, but for some odd reason it didnt work untill now, odd. as if something surpressed it. contained the technology from letting go the location of the girl. he smirked. colombus ohio, how he wouldve never guessed.
then he stood and walked past the black syrum printed in bold label;
Chemical: B+F (HAZARDOUS)
'looks like finding her might be easier than i thought'. he thought. he smirked mischeveously at his dark though 'but its always nice to be reunited with family, ill be sure to pay old darren a visit.' he thought.
