A/N: Good morning :) I know I give BS excuses for like, every single update that is non existent, but I have a good reason. It's easier to say online than in person, but for many if you don't know, I am bisexual. And there's this winter dance 'extravaganza' that my school is conducting this Thursday and I maybe sort of kinda have a crush on this girl at my school whom most likely doesn't even know of my existance (that came out deeper than I thought) and Im thinking about taking her to the dance. Except I have social anxiety and extremely introverted, go figure :/ im so stumped and I honestly don't know what to do. But anyways, enjoy chapter 27 (:
I'm trying out first person POV in this one

Thanksgiving flashback
~
I was looking everywhere for mom and dad and worry began to fill my chest seeing as I haven't found them yet, but knowing them there most likely socializing with everyone... Or eating.
"Lizzy!" I turned around sharply preparing myself, knowing that this bearhug isn't going to end nicely. To sets of arms lifted me up off the ground, swinging me side to side.
"Grayson! Ethan!" I grasped onto them with a bright smile on my face. "I missed you guys, how was the trip to Europe?"
"Great! We ate this one food called cupavici and its like, the best cake ever."
"Its a pastry." Ethan interrupted, pushing past Grayson to give me a soft hug. I noticed a stripe of purple hair handing over his forehead.
"Woah, your hair!"
"Yeah" he grinned "I took josh's advice. Grayson says I look edgy and I don't know how to react to that."
I laughed at him "at least you didnt get gauges"
"What is that supposed to mean?" We each exchanged glances as Josh had appeared, his arms folded and a pout on his face, "you don't like my gauges?"
Grayson shrugged and gestured to Ethan "he wouldn't look good with them." Joshua nodded in agreement.
"Hey!" Ethan was now scolding Grayson about how he should always agree with his choises, but I couldn't catch much detail seeing as I was walking into the back patio.
A soft hand was placed on my shoulder, turning a smile formed onto my face as green eyes and a head of red hair grinned back. I embraced him in a hug, "Corey! I thought you where still in New York with your mom!"
"I couldn't miss out on seeing you Lizzy. Plus, your mom makes killer apple pies." I grinned as he leaned down, his eyes closing as his lips latched onto mine.
He smirked into the kiss, parting as he looked lovingly into my eyes. "God I missed this."
"You're not the only one."
He smiled before kissing me once again, deeper this time but it didn't last for long because an abrupt banging at the door caused us to part hastily.
Dad was glaring directly at Corey his arms crossed as he pointed at both of us, using his fingers as hooks and gesturing them apart. He let go of me quickly and blushed as he smiled, nodded, and simply walked away.
I giggled at his bewildered expression. "Why are you so scared at my dad?"
"What! I'm not scared."
Faking, I widened my eyes and pointed behind him. He jumped and turned around. Mumbling curses seeing as nobody was there.
I intertwined my fingers into his, using the pad of my thumb to stroke the back of his hand. "Maybe you should talk to him. He's a reasonable man."
He rose an eyebrow at me quizzically
"Sometimes."
While walking around the pond in the back yard, Corey running for his life as Ollie emerged from the water and began to run after him, and a few minutes of me reassuring that he'll never hurt him, I felt a wrench in my heart.
And a push towards the house. I hastily watched from behind me, nobody was there. And Corey was across the pond trying to sign a peace treaty with the otter.
A loud voice in my head boomed in anger "go to the den now."
Frightened, I ran past Corey, neglecting his calls after me as I emerged into the den, tears in my mothers eyes and bright red littered my fathers face, angered, I looked at the culprit. Oddly, I saw a black aura around her that shouted random things absolutely exposing her.
Insults flooded out from her mouth as I began to form a retort from mine, "much like your attitude..."

Angrily, she left the room, then the house and right after we heard the door slam shut they stood in front of me. "How did you know?"
"I sensed something was wrong. So that was my Aunt?"
"From Jenna's side, yeah. That's one hell of a introduction." Tyler chipped in I nodded. I then hugged them, holding them close. I'd hate for someone to insult our family, for the many things they've done for me.
It was then I heard a small greeting, "good evening Mr. And Mrs Joseph. Knowing that voice, I grinned and turned around seeing Corey awkwardly standing. At least he considered my advice, I just want to see how it plays out.
He began to make conversation as I ran up to my room to grab my journal, smiling at my uncles as I past by the group into the patio and opened the book. The same red eyes stared back. I've always mindlessly drew it whenever I had the chance.
It was then I remembered, who, or more-so, what was that voice?
Maybe... It was him.
Wait,
I looked deeply into the picture. It was the same thing from my dream! Distorted face, extremely vivid, blurry even. With black hands, neck. He had the same dilated voice. It had to be him, but who exactly, was him?
