*Emma's POV

I woke up about two hours before my alarm was suppose to go off. I barley slept at all last night. Every time I tried to close my eyes, I kept playing back the kiss Killian and I shared. Or should I say the many kisses that we shared.

As I stood in the shower, letting the shampoo soak into my scalp, I felt like a giddy school girl. Every time his face popped into my brain I couldn't help but smile and squeal. I couldn't wait to see him.

I wanted to look extra pretty today. So I decided to curl my hair, something I only did on very special occasions. But today definitely qualified as special. I was going to ask Killian out on a date. I had never asked anyone out before. I'd been asked out plenty of times since moving to Storybrooke but each guy was more arrogant and shallow than the one before. I had no problem turning all of them down.

It was a good thing I woke up early today. I spent almost a whole hour rummaging through my closet looking for the perfect outfit. Everything was either too formal, too casual, or just plain ugly. I wondered why I had even bought some of these clothes. Ugh! Didn't I have anything to wear?

Finally I found a pale lavender dress with spaghetti straps that flowed just above the knee. I paired it with some sandals, dabbed on a little makeup and headed to my bug. When I was standing in front of the mirror, I had noticed a few light bruises starting to from on my neck. I blushed, knowing I'd have to cover them up tomorrow with some concealer. They would be more noticeable by then.

I was running late for school, so Regina and Robin were already in class when I sat down.

"Well, someone is looking awfully fancy today," Regina noted.

I blushed. "I felt like dressing up today."

"This wouldn't have anything to do with the study date you and Cutie pants had yesterday, would it?" She speculated.

"No," I lied, my voice cracking. Dammit. I sucked at lying. "Why would you think that?"

"Because I'm your best friend. I know when something is up with you,"she snorted. "Now spill."

I glanced over at Robin to see if he was listening. He was busy talking to a guy that everyone called Little John. I took in a big breath and then let it out. Well, there was no point in keeping secrets from Gina. She'd figure it out eventually, at least this way she wouldn't have to annoy it out of me.

"I kissed him, I whispered. Her eyes went wide and she gasped.

"You kissed him?!" She squealed.

"Shhh!" I scowled. "Be quiet or I won't tell you anything else."

"Sorry," she muttered sheepishly. "I'll shut up, just tell me what happened."

"Honestly, I don't know," I admitted. "We went to my house, we started talking and laughing, then we looked in each other's eyes, and before I knew what I was doing, I started kissing him."

"Did he kiss you back?" She asked, a wide smile plastered on her face.

I nodded. "Let's just say we got a little caught up in the moment and almost did a lot more than kissing."

Her grin widened as I continued giving her a play by play of everything that happened. "Oh my god. You are such a little hypocrite. When Robin and I first met and we started making out about an hour later you said 'Jeez Gina, are you gonna let him get in your pants already?' And here you are, telling me you rounded 2nd base with Cutie pants after only knowing each other for not even 2 full days! Not to mention he called you his girlfriend!"
