~At the end of school~

Okay, time to go home, take a nap, and just relax.

Huh? Hey, what's that noise..?
Suddenly, something jumped out of the bushes!
"AAAH!"

You start running at fast as you can, terrified that something is chasing you. After you're fairly certain that there's nothing behind you, you stop to catch your breath.

You look back and see that it was just Gamzee jumping in and out of the bushes. What a weirdo.

After a moment you see the kid that you ran into earlier standing in front of you.

He says his name is Karkat, and then he asks if you want to come inside, and you decide to go.
As soon as you enter, you see lots of nice things everywhere.
Wow, it looks much better here than at my house!

I sit down on the sofa and see a lot of video games.

"Oh, can we play video games?" You ask, practically praying he'll say yes.
He agrees, and I pick out a fighting game that I think looks fun.
~One hour later~
"Hah! I win!" I cheer, happy I'd finally beat him.
"Wow, you're getting much better" Karkat says, clearly impressed.

We had been playing for a while, talking endlessly.
I notice a weird red stuffed dragon thing sitting on the ground.

"Hey, what's that?" I ask.
He looks over, then quickly puts the little stuffed animal away.
"Oh, that? It's, uh, it belongs to a friend of mine." He smiles awkwardly.

Huh. That seems like something that (D/N) would love playing with.
Wait... (D/N)! I FORGOT I HAVE TO FEED THEM!

"I forgot, I have to to feed my dog! It's was nice hanging out with you, Karkat!" I start quickly grabbing all of my stuff, then sprint out the door.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow!" I cry at I run down the street.
As soon as I get home, I run to the kitchen and get the dog food out of a cabinet.

"(D/N)? Where are you?" I shout around the house.
Suddenly, a loud, furry thing bolts down the stairs.
"Hey, there you are! Are you hungry? Here, have some food."

As soon as the dog is fed, I flop down onto the bed and start daydreaming.
I hope I get to see Karkat tomorrow...
