Good and Evil

Explanations

I gestured for Mark to come and sit at the table while we talked.
"Well, uh, I don't exactly know where to start." He began.
"First, tell me why my hair is naturally green, because thy kinda freaks me out"
"Uh, okay. Your hair has grown out green because your different than everyone else."
"I figured that out, it's kinda hard to miss"I replied sassily.
"Let me start over..." Mark said because I have him a confused look. "Ever since a big nuclear war we had a while ago, everyone in the country is born with a little bit of this chemical called 'Septic' in them. While you have still have the chemical in your body, it is impossible to starve or thirst to death. The chemical pretty much provides our bodies with energy and keeps everything working right."
I nodded my head in understanding as he continued, "However, if you are deprived of the chemical, your body starts to shut down. The reason why you always have so much energy and your hair naturally turned green is because you were born with an extreme amount of septic in you."
While Mark went on, my expression went from curious to extremely confused and astounded. "So that's why I need your help. The bad people that are going around killing people have found a gaseous substance that can take all the septic out of our bodies and kill us if it's breathed in. The substance is called 'Antiseptic' and it's what killed your family so long ago. I you help me, there is a chance you could save a lot of people. We just need to know if it's possible first."
He must have noticed my confused expression because he got up from the table and held out a hand. "Follow me"
