Good and Evil

Part 28

My plan would be simple, when the person comes to gather my tray, I must give them it; however, I will not give them the roll and when they leave through the sliding door, I will place the roll between the door and the wall. That way, I can open the door when the coast is clear and run to find my friends.
I executed my plan perfectly. No one has seen or caught me yet, so I think I am doing pretty well.
"Mark! Jessie! Izzy!" I yelled as I found them, giving both of them a big hug. "Anti, Dark, Peach, I'm so glad to see all of you again"
"We are glad to see you again too!" Mark almost yelled as he gave me another hug.
"We though that we were going to lose you, Jack" Jessie said. " and it would have been all my fault."
"It's okay because I'm here now" I comforted them.
After our little reunion, I noticed something. I closed my eyes and use my power to listen to what I assume is Fall speaking angrily an someone.
I heard her say, "How could you let him go!? He was our prisoner! Our scapegoat! Our ransom! We could have captured all his little friends just to set him free! You idiots!"
Then I heard angry footsteps and what sounded like teleporting. Crap.
I opened my eyes and saw Fall standing right in front of us, staring daggers at us with her piercing hazel eyes. We tried to run, but it was no use, it just made her angrier.
"Aaaaggghhh" Mark yelled as Fall grabbed him by the arm, digging her nails into it and pulling him close to her with a knife to his neck.
"STOP!" I yelled, "If you want to kill someone, kill me. Let them go"
Fall thought for a minute. "Yes," she said finally, "It would be wrong to kill this beautiful man" she said as she let him go.
I ran up to Mark to see if he is okay before hugging him and slowly and reluctantly walking over to Fall.
"Because you so honorably saved your friend, you won't die quickly without much pain. No," Fall said with a dark voice like the one she used when she killed those two warriors that captured me. "You will die very slowly and with absolutely excruciating pain" then she let out the scariest evil laugh I have ever heard and teleported me to another small room. She forced me inside through the sliding door and I immediately noticed holes that lined the ceiling and walls. However, on one wall was a window where I could see my friends had been seated to watch me die. The room was sealed and I suddenly heard a slight whooshing sound as a toxic green gas filled the room.
