"Me too" Jack said.
"Oh" Mark replied, confused.
"Me three" Jessie said from the other side of the room. This comment took the boys by surprise as they both looked at her. "What? I know it's rare to have one, but jeez, you don't gotta look at me like I have three heads." She defended.
"We should probably try to find out about these 'shadows' that we have, shouldn't we." Mark suggested after a short silence.
"No need to" Jessie said, "I've got it covered"
"What?" Mark and Jack both asked.
Jessie sighed, "When I was seven years old, I was filled with so much hate at the world that I received my own demon. The plus side to every demon is that the person they possess can never feel immense hate ever again; it's like the ability to hate is taken from you an formed into it's own being. Sure, it's still possible to dislike things, but not hate. That's why I am always so optimistic. Understand?"
"I think so" Jack said.
"I guess... But what do they do other than make us unable to hate?" Mark questioned.
"Well, Mark, that's the cool part. They can defend you, fight you, etc. just depending on how you treat them. I would obviously recommend treating them well, because although they only look a little scary, they could destroy your life in a matter of seconds."
"Would they kill you?" Mark asked.
"No, if they kill you, they die too. So for their own sake, they would just torture you" Jessie responded.
"Okay," Jack said, " so what exactly can these demons do?"
"Well, let's find out." Jessie replied excitedly.
Jessie then put her hands out in front of her, palm up, and closed her eyes. Jack and Mark watched in amazement as Jessie's palms glowed with an orange light that colored the whole room.
The light from her palms went away. Jessie opened her eyes and let out the breath she had been holding in. When she did this, an orange smoke drifted from between her lips and it grew larger as it materialized into a person. She looked just like Jessie; however, they let off a feeling of evil.
The clone had Jessie's figure and shape of her body. The only things that were actually different were the details. It looked like if someone had drawn Jessie but left out all color and intricate details, they could make the demon.
It's eyes were still the same soft shape of Jessie's but instead of the light brown, they were a vibrant orange color. Also, the demon had on bright orange eyeshadow and lipstick. If she didn't looks so evil, she would be absolutely beautiful. However, when she smiled, they saw her dagger sharp teeth and the evil smirk painted across her face.
The demon wore a peach and black colored skin-tight outfit that included a jacket, boots, and gloves. The jacket's hood was lazily set over her head. Her long straight black hair was draped over her shoulders and onto her chest. It had obvious bright orange streaks all over it.
During the transformation, Jessie had been put into the same outfit as the demon so that if you couldn't see their hair or face, you couldn't tell the difference.
Jessie swung her arms in the demon's direction, "Meet Peach"
