Jessie's POV
I noticed the fireball that Dark propelled into the middle of the room just before it landed. Then, in less than a second, the room was completely separated.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" I heard from my left. When I looked over, I saw Jack losing it.
I went over to him and tried to comfort him.
"Do you know why he just did that?" I asked him as we tried to avoid the people trying to kill us.
"I have no f*cking idea" he replied angrily because of our situation.
There were a lot of bad people on this side of the wall of fire, we need to get out of here.
"Jessie, go" Jack told me after a moment.
"WHAT? I'm not leaving you over here!" I yelled back at him.
"Yes you are! I can handle these guys, you can go through the fire in your force field and I'll teleport over. Now, GO!"
Jack's POV
I told Jessie to leave and save herself on the other side of the fireball. When she gets there safely, I'll teleport to the other side with her and the rest of them.
I watched Jessie create her force field and run through the flames. I was about to teleport to the other side when something stopped me...
