"I can't believe we are actually on a cruise right now." You said in amazement as you finally boarded the ship. The line at the immigration was so long, you thought it would take you hours to finally pass through. "Welcome on board!" The staff would greet you enthusiastically.
"(Y/N)? Where's our room?" Your friend called out for your attention. You checked the card that was given to you, "Deck 7. Which deck are we at now?"
"Three. Let's take the stairs so we can see the view." Your friend insisted as you two went to the take the stairs. The place was amazing, it really felt like a floating resort. "Can we please take the lift?" You pleaded to your friend.
At deck 5, the stairs no longer had a view so she gave in. "Alright let's take the lift." The two of you made your way to the lift. "Wait hold on please!" Your friend exclaimed as she saw one of the lift doors closing. "We can always wait for the next— Okay then never mind." You shrugged as she managed to get the people in the lift to wait for you two.
"Thank you." You bowed your head slightly to the group inside. All of you inside were carrying your big bag packs so it was quite tight in there. There were 7 boys and two of you.
"No problem." One of them replied, you turned to give him a small smile. You two alighted first, saying thank you once again as they pressed the button for you while you two headed out.
"They're cute right?" Your friend casually asked as you two walked down the corridor to find your room. "Who?" You asked as your head turned left and right, looking at the numbers to find your room number. "The ones in the lift."
"Oh yea they're good looking." You nodded your head even though she was in front of you. "I hope we can see them again."
"(F/N) we did not come on a cruise to look at hot guys okay?" "Maybe not you but I did." Your friend stopped at your room's door and unlocked it. "Yes balcony view! Amazing!" She cheered happily as she entered with a happy skip. You chuckled at your friend as you closed the door behind you. "Dibs on this bed!" She jumped on one of the beds.
"Calm down you 5 year old kid." You teased as you placed your bag down on the couch. Just as you found a comfortable position on the bed, you friend stood up and said, "Let's go!" She reached out to pull you up. "Go? Go where?" You asked tiredly.
"Let's explore the ship!" "We'll be here for a week. We have plenty of time to— And we're exploring." You sighed defeatedly as you found yourself out of the room and being dragged down the corridor to explore the many decks of the ship.
"Aren't you hungry? Let's eat first." "Yea sure I'm pretty hungry." You agreed as you walked by her side. The two of you headed to deck 5 to get yourselves food and it was already pretty crowded. "Looks like many people decided to board early."
"There's an empty table!" You pointed to one that was at the corner, pulling your friend along with you. "There's only one chair though." She said. "I'll ask someone for an extra chair." You turned around to ask the group that was nearest to you.
"Hey—" you stopped for a moment, realizing it was the same group of boys that was in the lift, "—is it alright if I take this extra chair?" You pointed to the empty chair. "Sure." One of them replied, the same one that replied your earlier in the lift. "Thank you!" You gratefully said as you took the chair away from them. "Hey it's that cute guy again."
Your friend winked at you. "Maybe it's fate."
"Ha. Ha. Very funny." You playfully rolled your eyes at her.
The two of you talked and ate at the same time, planning out what you were going to do throughout the cruise and expressing each other's excitement. "So let's go to the sports deck later?" Your friend confirmed as you two headed back to your room. "Yea sure just let me nap first, I woke up too early on a holiday." You groaned as you unlocked the door, flinging yourself into the bed.
