You have known Yoongi for years, you were one of the few people who supported him in pursuing in music. You were there waiting for him when he auditioned, his first performance and you made it a point to always be there when his group performed. That made you also get to know the rest of the group. You were so happy for them, heck, happy can't even cover how you felt.
You have always been interested in his works and what was to come. Yoongi would always let you be the first person to hear it and give feedback. You visited Big Hit often, their managers even recognized you to this point. Many of the coordinators there knew you as well and would often mistake you for his girlfriend, you wished you were, but you weren't.
"Where's Yoongi?" You asked one of BTS' coordinator. "He's working on a collaboration song in studio B." She pointed to one of the studio rooms down the corridor. "Alright thank you!" You smiled at her and headed towards studio B. You opened the door quietly so that you wouldn't disturb him.
"Hey–" You stopped yourself from talking the moment you entered the room. Yoongi was talking with someone, another artist, you guessed. "Oh hey (y/n)." Yoongi gestured for you to enter. "Are you sure? I think I'm disturbing you right now. I can just come by later–"
"Oh no it's fine. It's nice to meet you, I'm Jewel. Well, that's my stage name." The female idol got up to offer you a handshake. You returned it and introduced yourself. "Are you and Suga dating?"
You stuttered to reply verbally so you just shook your head, indicating that you weren't. "I'll visit you tomorrow, it was nice to meet you Jewel." You bowed politely and said goodbye to Yoongi. The next few days, every time you would visit him, Yoongi was always busy with Jewel on their collaboration project. You couldn't help but feel jealous but you did your best to supress the feeling. You eventually gave up visiting so often and slowly you stopped visiting, only sending the boys messages now and then.
"You're what?" You said in shocked, still trying to process what Yoongi announced to you. Yoongi gave you a bright smile, "We're dating." You figured he was really happy to be dating Jewel. You could simply tell from the bright smile he had on his face.
"C-Congrats!" You choked up a word of congratulations to your best friend. "I'm actually really happy, I finally found someone who is interested in my music and supports me!" His words felt like a sharp stab in your heart. Did he just say that? You had been there for him, for years. Supporting him, encouraging him, yet he never noticed it.
You felt a lump grow in your throat, knowing you were about to cry, you spoke, "I'm sorry I'm only dropped for such a short period of time but I need to rush over somewhere. I'm meeting a friend now."
"Really?" His excitement and happiness in his voice dropped, "You haven't visited for a long time." He frowned and you could honestly feel your heart flutter from the sight of that. "Yoongi oppa!" You heard an all too familiar voice.
You forced a smile on your face, "I'll stop by really soon. Bye guys!" You waved at the group.
As you headed out, someone called after you. "(y/n)!" You turned around to see Hoseok and Jimin running towards you. You blinked the tears away and smiled at them in confusion, "Yes?"
The two glanced at each other then back at you, "We need your help."
You agreed with the two boys to meet up at a later date at Big Hit. It was exactly a week later when you were at Big Hit during the wee hours of the morning. You had no idea why they asked you to meet them so early but they sounded in desperate need of your help so you agreed.
"What are we—" Jimin covered your mouth as you three headed towards a room. "Take a look for yourself." Hoseok whispered. Jimin removed his hand from your mouth and you moved closer to take a peak through the door.
