WARNING: Cheating and a very short fight
Min Guk has been your boyfriend for 6 months. He was your first boyfriend and you were quite nervous about being in a relationship, before you actually said yes, you went to talk about it with your best friend— Jimin. Jimin obviously helped you through the thinking process, offering you helping thinking questions and you ended up saying yes to Min Guk.
You were busy working on editing your essay that was due the next day, it was late at night and you were exhausted. You stared tiredly at your phone to check the time—it was already past midnight? You yawned as you turned your attention back to your essay. Just as you started dozing off, your phone rang.
'Min Guk' was what it flashed on the screen. Why would he be calling at such a late hour? You answered the call anyway but you didn't receive a reply. "Hello? Min Guk why did you call?"
You heard the sounds of movement from the other end and decided that he had accidentally butt dialed you. You weren't surprised since it has happened quite a few times. You chuckled but just as you were about to speak to try and get his attention, he started talking.
"I didn't buy any—"
"That's alright, I'll just do the work then." You heard an unfamiliar female voice that sounded really seductive. You raised your eyebrows in shock as you continued to hear their conversation. "Maybe we can do this next time when I have— Or we can do this now that's good too." He immediately changed his mind.
"Why don't you get yourself comfortable?" The female voice spoke. You heard shuffling of movement once again, "Shit. Oh shit. (Y/N) are you there?" Min Guk realized that he was on a phone call with you and you heard everything. "Having fun? Don't mind me, continue your fun. You know what? Just forget about me." You said bitterly through the phone, immediately ending the call afterwards.
You tossed your phone on your bed as you ran your fingers through your hair frustratedly, tugging them at the ends. "I can't believe this!" You hissed quietly, getting up from your seat as you started pacing around the room. Your phone started vibrating and you read his name flashing once again on the screen. You angrily took your phone and declined the call.
The next thing you obviously did was to block him. Feeling satisfied after that, you dropped down on your bed and stared at the wall facing you. Tears started to well in your eyes but you blinked them away. You were not going to cry over someone who cheated on you.
You forced yourself to go back to editing your essay, listening to music to attempt to clear your mind. Afterwards, you attempted to fall asleep.
The next day, you barely got any sleep. You were still accepting the fact that your first boyfriend has cheated on you. Though your relationship was only half a year, you still didn't expect a person like Min Guk to cheat. "He what?!" Jimin suddenly slammed his locker. A few people nearby turned their heads towards the two of you. You have an awkward smile to the rest before glaring at Jimin who gave a sheepish apologetic smile.
"Sorry. I just can't believe he did that to you! I swear when I see him I'm going to punch—"
"Jimin," you called his attention, he gave you the same again. You sighed, "I should be the one punching him." Jimin laughed before his smile was replaced with a concerned expression, "Are you okay? You seem to be taking this surprisingly well." You pressed your lips into a tight thin line as you averted his worried gaze, "I'm fine, I just want to make him feel sorry."
Your best friend didn't seem to buy your reply but he didn't push further. Jimin patted your shoulders, "What do you want to do?" You smirked at him, "Punch him. Slap him. I don't know as long as it'll hurt him." Jimin shook his head, "Physical pain is not as painful as emotional."
