"Cat human hybrid?"

"Luke! We aren't allowed to tell people!" Calum exclaimed, his eyes widening as he looked over at the blue haired girl across from me.

"Like she'd tell anyone." I snorted.

"True." Halsey hollered, shooting another piece of popcorn at me.

I grabbed it off my shirt and popped it in my mouth. The doorbell rang and Cal raced to open it. I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth, showing Halsey I wanted more popcorn. She immediately tossed a bunch of it at my face, laughing when I caught none of it.

"Mr. Hood. The subject responded well to all surgeries and procedures there's just two...three problems..."

I heard Calum gasp and Halsey jumped up, eager to see drama. I sighed and followed her. The cat, now human stood by the left winding staircase.

He had a dirty blond fringe, two black kitten ears standing up were positioned just like a cat's. A matching black tail came out above his bum.

He was wearing a long skirt that went down to his ankles and a big shirt that was obviously cut to fit him.

"Okay, so the two most obvious problems are his ears and tail but there's a more...important problem..." The man said.

Ashton ushered the man and Calum into his office so they could speak. I was probably supposed to follow but I simply didn't want to deal with anyone other Halsey right now.

"Look how cute you are!" Halsey exclaimed, smiling at the green eyed boy.

He stared up at her with a trace of confusion mixed with terror in his eyes.

"Do you have a name?" Halsey asked softly.

The boy carefully nodded, his kitten ears perking up slightly.

"I'm Halsey." The blue haired girl grinned, setting her hand on her chest.  

"Mikey 'm Mikey?" The kitten boy asked like he wasn't sure.

"Mikey." She repeated, "You have such a pretty name."

"Pretty?"

"Yeah, like nice? Like um..you really like because something is nice looking." Halsey said, trying to explain.

Mikey nodded, letting his fringe fall in front of his eyes. I immediately pushed it back. I absolutely hated when my, or anyone's, eyes were covered. My hand touched his ear and Michael closed his eyes and purred.

"That's not going to get weird." I muttered, yanking my hair away.

"Cool." Halsey exclaimed, letting behind the boy's ears.

Mikey purred, his tail swaying and wrapping around the girls arm.

"Its weird. Not cool." I told Halsey, hearing the doors to Ashton's office open again.

Calum showed the doctor out and Ashton came to join us.

"Has he talked?" The eldest boy asked.

"Yeah. He's so cute." Halsey grinned and stopped letting the hybrid.

"H-hale-ee?" Mikey stuttered, struggling with the word.

"Awh, that's right Mikey." She praised, "And that's Ashton."

The blond looked at where she pointed, "A-ashton?"

Ashton nodded and smiled. Calum came over, draping Ashton's arm over his waist.

"This is Calum." Ashton introduced.

"k-k...kay-lum?" Mikey struggled.

"Good job." Calum smiled.

I rolled my blue eyes and turned around, heading for the living room. I wasn't dealing with Michael saying everything wrong.

"Don't mind him, he's just moody."
