"Hey mate, where Michael?" I asked.

"I thought Ash or you had him." Calum said, looking up at me.

I just nodded before racing to the backyard, where Ash was playing baseball with Harry.

"Ash, you know where Mike is?" I asked.

The curly haired boy shook his head, "Thought you had 'im. Check cal maybe?"

I mumbled a thanks even through he helped me with absolutely nothing. I ran back through the house, taking the stairs two and three at a time.

"Michael!" I called, running towards his bedroom, "Baby?"

I knocked on the door, my heart racing. Where was he?

"L-leave me alone." Michael sobbed.

My hand went for the doorknob, trying to unlock the door.

"Michael, open the door."

"I said go away." He cried.

"Michael. Open this door right now." I demanded.

"No! Its not like you even want me here! You said it yourself...I'm leaving tomorrow." He mumbled.

"Michael." I whispered, resting my head against the door. "I didn't mean it that way."

"You said people were taking me away. W-was I not enough?" He asked, his voice cracking, "Why don't people like me? No one ever likes me. I get treated like a toy. I don't want anymore people saying they care when they don't."

"I don't want any more daddies that'll just push me aside. I don't want anymore fake friends." He cried, breaking my heart, "I'm always pushed against the same wall. Someone will pick me up, but for how long? I just get pushed against the wall again. That wall's starting to break Luke. Its crumbling all around me. I don't wanna get stuck under it all."

"You won't Michael. I'm right here. I'll never leave you." I promised, "I'll stick by your side. You won't get tossed aside."

"t-that's what everyone said. They a-all lied." He sobbed.

"I promise Michael. I promise I'll never leave." I said, placing my hands against the cold door, "Please just open the door."

"N-no." Michael stated.

"Please Michael..please." I ask, tears starting to pour down my cheeks, "Michael."

I heard him crying from the other side of the thick door, choking back sobs.

"I love you Michael." I whispered.

His sobs got louder and the door opened. He crawled into my arms, crying hysterically.

"I-I love you Luke."
