Harley's POV:
"Hi Sammy." The boy said, looking up. His eyes were black. I gulped a little.
"You leave the boy alone, he didn't do shit to you." I spat at the demon.
"Oh but he did," the demon said, sounding more wicked and evil than any demon I had known. "you see, Harley, he has something that belongs to me." She, being the demon, hissed.
"What would that be?" Sam questioned coldly.
"Life, a soul, the chance to make something of himself, something I never got the chance to do." She spat.
"He didn't kill you." I replied coldly, walking closer.
"Back up, or I kill him right now." She stared. I backed up a little, putting my hand in my back pocket, where my blade was. "You see," she started walking around the room as she talked. "Many years ago, on my prom night, I was hit by a tractor trailer on the highway. No one saw, no one cared." She said coldly.
"That wasn't his fault." Sam stated loudly. She stopped walking for a minute and glared at him before starting again.
"She was the chosen one." She replied smirking.
"What are you talking about, you black eyed bitch." I spat.
"She didn't want to be alive anyways. She took her life for granted. The stupid bitch deserved it!" The demon yelled. I stared at her, creasing my eyes in hatred.
"She was a young girl!" I yelled.
"She was a bitch!" She spat back. "And now, she does my dirty work." She smiled wickedly.
"Let her go." Sam stated, "let him go too."
"Oh Sammy, no can do." She smirked. I pulled my pistol out of my pocket quickly and put it against her forehead, well Dillon's forehead. "Go ahead and do it, you'll kill him too." She smiled. She brought her hand up quickly, flinging me against a mirror. The glass shattered as I hit the floor. I looked over at Sam. Sam looked back at her just as she punched him across his right cheek.
"You bitch!" I yelled, getting up and charging at her. I knocked her over and rolled on top of her, putting my knife to her, or Dillon's, throat. She fought back, turning the knife in my own direction. In a swift movement I turned it quickly and stabbed it through Dillon's throat. The demon expelled and Dillon's body lie cold and still.
"I'm sorry kid.." I stated lowly, getting up and limping to Sam.
"You alright Sammy?" I asked him.
"I'm fine, are you okay?" He replied.
"Yeah, I'm good. Let's get the hell out of this place." I replied. Sam and I decided to burn Dillon's body, just so that she wouldn't use him as a vessel again. I stood there, watching the fire engulf his skin.
"I should've saved him." I said lowly.
"There's nothing you could have done." Sammy replied, putting his arm around my shoulder.
"He didn't deserve that." I replied, looking down.
"No body deserves the shit that goes on in this world, but you saved him from being a vessel." He replied, looking at me.
"Yeah, sure, I guess so.." I replied, "let's go home." I replied, meaning the hotel but that was the closest thing I had to home at the moment.
"Sure," he replied, kissing my forehead and turning us around to walk to the car. I could still hear the sound of the sizzling of Dillon's skin, a sound that would haunt me for the rest of my life. Along with many others. I guess that's just the life of a hunter..
