Viper's POV:
"You think they got that car hotwired in time?" I asked Dean, looking over at him from the passenger seat.
"Vi, it's been an hour almost. If they didn't get it they would've called by now. Just relax." He placed his hand on mine. I smiled lightly and sighed.
"Guess you're right, they're just a whole state away and it worries me. What if-"
"Vi, relax." He repeated. I nodded and stared out the window. With all that was going on with me at the moment I wanted nothing more than to tell Harley everything, spill all of this grace and darkness in front of her and ask her what I'm supposed to do. But the gang has bigger things to worry about than me, and doing that would just stress them out even more.
"You ever get ahold of the neighbor?" Dean asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, yeah-I did." I replied, pulling a small piece of paper from the picket of my jacket. "His name is Jared Gram," I continued. "I asked if we could come by tomorrow, look around and ask some questions and he agreed willingly, I don't even think he asked me for my information or anything."
"Doesn't sound very guilty to me." He stated.
"Yeah, me neither." I agreed.
"Well, we'll do some research, go talk to a few people, sleep a few hours and head to Jared's house early tomorrow morning." He stated like a drill Sargent.
"Sir, yes sir." I replied jokingly. He laughed and turned the music up. "Out On The Ties" by Led Zeppelin was playing. I smiled brightly and swayed to the music as Dean sung out the lyrics.
I'm just a simple guy, I love from day to day
A ray of sunshine melts my frown and blows my blues away
There's nothing more that I can say but on a day like today
I pass the time away and walk a quiet mile with you
I gazed at him in amazement and smiled. I started to sing along, loud and proud.
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give me is all your love
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give me is all your love
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah
I screamed the last line of lyrics as we pulled up to a motel. Dean stopped the Impala and put his hand on mine.
I'm so glad I'm living and gonna tell the world I am
I got me a fine woman and she says that I'm her man
He sang, looking over at me. I blushed and looked down as he continued.
One thing that I know for sure gonna give her all my love
Like nobody, nobody, nobody,-
I gripped his hand and looked up at him, finishing the line of the song for him.
- nobody, can.
He smiled at me and I smiled back in reply. A small silence hung as music played in the background. I didn't even have time to respond as Dean kissed me. I smiled and I felt my face heat up.
"Come on, Pretty boy." I said, getting out of the Impala and making my way to the motel.
Harley's POV:
Sam and I stopped at a diner on our way to the motel. I got a chocolate milk and Sam got a smoothie. We decided we'd just take it with us to the motel, since it was getting sort of late.
"Any word from Vi?" He questioned as we entered our motel room.
"Nope, Dean?" I asked.
"Nothin'." He replied.
"Great, great." I said sarcastically.
"How do you do it?" He said, breaking a small silence that had fell.
"Do what?" I questioned, taking my lips from my chocolate milk and wiping the milk mustache off my upper lip.
"You eat like a five year old in need of a sugar high rehab," He laughed. "But yet your body looks like, well that." He stated, motioning to my body. I looked down at my self and frowned at him in questioning. He sighed and rolled his eyes, laughing a little. "It's a compliment Harley."
"Oh," I said as my face heated up. "uh-well-um, thank you." I laughed nervously.
"Anytime," he smiled. "You think there's anything good on that tv?" He questioned.
"Doubt it," I scoffed. "won't hurt to try though." I said, reaching for the remote.
"On second thought," Sam said, grabbing my hand before I could reach the remote on the table. My eyes flew to our hands and then up to his face. "let's go somewhere."
"Where?" I questioned, freaking out mentally at the way Sammy was acting.
"I heard there's a mountain near here, they play drive-in movies," he told me. "consider it a date." He smiled.
"Well, look at you Sammy." I smirked, shooting him a playful wink.
"Let's go," he said, grabbing my hand and practically dragging me out of the room. We got in our stolen car and started towards a mountain near the motel.
We got there about 20 minutes later and they were just starting a new movie. I heard the theme song and it sounded really familiar. I then saw "The Breakfast Club" pop up on the screen. I squealed in excitement and Sam stated at me for a second.
"C'mon Sammy!" I yelled, getting out of the car. Sam followed worriedly. I sat on the hood of the car and crossed my legs, pulling my hoodie sleeves over my hands. "The Breakfast Club!" I told Sam excitedly. He laughed at my childlike appearance and I just smiled in response, patting the hood next to me. Sam groaned as he pulled his long legs to copy my position on the hood of the car. The movie had went on for a while before one of my favorite parts came on. I started quoting the scene quietly to myself.
"You're not fooling anyone, Bender. The next screw that falls out will be you." The dick-head of a teacher spat at my favorite character.
"Eat my shorts." I stated at the same time as Bender. The scene went on a lot and I continued to quote it.
"You just bought yourself another Saturday." Vernon, the teacher, stated.
"Ooh I'm crushed." I mimicked Bender.
"You just bought one more." The teacher replied. I smirked as I thought of the next line, speaking at the same time as Bender.
"Well I'm free the Saturday after that. Beyond that, I'm going to have to check my calendar."
Sam watched me in amazement. I noticed him staring and felt my cheeks heat up.
"What?" I asked shyly, looking over at him.
"You really like this movie, huh?"
"My dad used to watch it with me," I told him, looking down. "family favorite you could say." He smiled in a sad way and nodded.
"He'd be so proud of you," he stated out of nowhere. I looked up at him as he continued. "You're a beautiful, intelligent, hunter. That he would be beyond proud of." He smiled. I blinked away the tears and laughed lightly.
"Thanks, Sammy." I smiled weekly.
"You know it," he smiled, placing a small kiss on my lips. Butterflies fluffed around in my stomach and I smiled like an idiot. Life with Sammy was so simple, sometimes I wish it could always be this way.
