Viper's POV:
Dean and I decided to go to the library and dig around a bit while the newly weds caught up on lost time. Lost time meaning Harley was gone 99.9% of the time I was dead.
I picked up a few books and headed for the table Dean was sitting at when a tall man with blondish hair and brown eyes stepped out in front of me. I of course dropped all of my books, like something straight out of a teenage movie.
"Shit," I mumbled, bending down to pick up the books at the same time he did. We both fumbled for the books and I finally got them in my hands and stood up.
"Hi, I'm Jasper." The man held out his hand, chuckling lightly.
"Uh, Hi. The name's Vi." I replied, nodding at him and shaking his hand.
"Lore, History of the town, all things paranormal, odd selection." He nodded at my books.
"Oh, uh yeah. Report for-uh-college." I lied.
"Oh, I see. Well, I can give you a tour of one of the most haunted buildings in the town, later on tonight, if you're free." He smiled. My interest sparked and I smiled back.
"Oh, yeah of course. Thanks. Do you have the address?" I asked, holding out a piece of paper. Jasper took it and scribbled something down quickly.
"But it IS after closing hours, so make sure you dress in dark clothes, and come alone. Okay?" He smiled widely at the end. Little did he know-I was already an expert and breaking and entering. I nodded and said my goodbyes, making my way to Dean.
"Who was that beef-brain?" Dean scowled, looking Jasper up and down from across the room.
"His name is Jasper. So get this shit," I mumbled, sitting down next to him. "Jasper handed me an address, he said he can give me a private tour of the 'most haunted place in the town', after closing hours." I finished. Dean raised his eyebrow and I waited for the questioning to begin.
"You don't even know this guy. How can you be sure that he's not some demon? Or some crazy person?" Dean spat.
"Dean, when can we ever be sure of anything?" I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, when are we going?" He questioned.
"Well, there's another thing. He wants me to go alone." I told him, wincing already at the yelling fit I was about to inquire. "Now that I'm saying that out loud it sounds a tad sketchy." I admitted. Dean huffed in annoyance and rolled his eyes.
"Let's go to a motel, catch a few hours of shut-eye before you go all 'ghost-whisperer' with some random dude." Dean stated. I huffed and rolled my eyes back, following him.
*a few hours later*
"Alright look Shortcake," Dean stated, as I changed my shirt into a black flannel with a black t-shirt and my dirty leather jacket I had yet to wash. "I'm gonna stay right outside those gates, okay? You need me-you call me. Understood?" He fixed the collar of my jacket and pressed his lips to my forehead.
"Sir yes, Sir." I stated. I could feel tears rising in my eyes. I hadn't felt Dean's kiss since I passed away. I leaned in and kissed him shortly as a tear ran down my face.
"Woah, Vi. What's wrong?" He questioned, searching my face for any sign of injury or emotion.
"Nothing, just glad to be back." I smiled. He smiled shortly at me.
"I love you, Kiddo." He patted my shoulder.
"I know," I replied, winking at him shortly.
