Harley's POV:

We had finished breakfast just as Viper and I ganked the were-bitch and decided to had off towards Colorado.

"So she really was a werewolf?" Sam asked from the front seat. Vi and I nodded in agreement.

"She sure didn't look like one," Dean chuckled. Viper rolled her eyes in annoyance at his comment about the waitress and Dean must have noticed in the rear view mirror. "much too ugly." He tried to cover up his mistake and failed miserably.

"So what's going down when we get to Colorado?" I asked, breaking the tension, or trying to at least.

"Well," Sam started. "I say we go there, find a motel, sleep for a few hours then go first thing in the morning to question the son."

"Sounds good to me," I stated.

"Yeah, same." Viper agreed, looking out the window. It wasn't often that I could tell what Viper was thinking and this time really proved that. However, I could tell my her facial expression that, whatever it was, it wasn't good. "You alright?" I questioned. She glanced over at me, as to reassure herself that I was speaking to her, before replying.

"Yeah, I'm good."

I could tell she was lying, but I let it slide. The last thing any of us need is an argument to add onto this stress. Looking at the clock and realizing we still had nearly 6 hours to go, I laid my head back and decided to nap.

Viper's POV:

*dreaming*

"You really thought you could get away with this?"

"You don't think we know what you did while our little friend was in your meat suite?"

"I was possessed! It's not my fault!" One of them mocked me. I was in a room surrounded by black eyed humans, tied to a trap. "Save it for someone who cares sweetheart." One with red hair sneered.

"You see," another stated, emerging from the shadows. "you may not have had any control over your actions but from what I was told, you didn't try to fight it too much either." The man neared me as his black eyes glistened and reflected what little light filled the room. "You enjoyed it." He smirked.

"You don't know what you're talking about." I spat. "You weren't there. You don't know shit!"

"Oh, we don't?" The red-haired woman snarled. "Tulsa, Oklahoma - Jenna Washington, 5 years old. You ripped her throat out as she clung to her teddy bear," she smirked. My heart dropped and my eyes burned with tears as she continued. "What about Austin, Texas - Mary Lou Clinton, 65 years old, you tortured her, knowing she had no useful information. And as if that wasn't enough, you then watched her body burn as she flailed and screamed." She inched near me with every breath until it was hot on my skin. A tear of anger rolled down my cheek as I turned to face you.

"you go straight to hell." I spat.

"Hm," she smirked, bending her head to the side. "been there, done that."

"What do you want from me?" I asked in a low voice.

"We want the truth, Viper." The man spoke up.

"The truth about what? The truth is, I'm trying to figure out with one of you low-life, miserable, sons-of-bitches I wanna kill first." I spat.

"The truth about your feelings." The man said, ignoring my comment.

"Oh, what are we in some kind of therapy session now?" I asked in a smartass tone. "Well, in that case. I'm feeling pretty damn-well pissed off at the moment." I spat.

"You know what's inside of you." He commented, once again ignoring my remarks. "It terrifies you, scares you, keeps you up at night." He stated. I stared at him blankly. "The darkness," he said, as if to answer an unasked question of mine. "You feel it within you. You sense it. Your anger, your strength. You feed from off the darkness. You want to embrace it, let it consume you." He said lowly, nearing me once again. "All you have to do is let it in. It's there, it always has been, just let it in." He stated. My heart raced and my breathing was cut short.

*dream over*

"Vi! Vi, wake up." Harley shook me from my dream and I've never been meow thankful of an interrupted nap. "You alright?" She questioned in a concerned tone.

"Yeah, yeah I'm good." I stated, sitting up and looking around. It was dark outside now and the front seat of the Impala was empty. "Where are we?" I questioned, looking around and rubbing my eyes.

"We're in Colorado," she answered, looking at a map. "Little town near the incident." She finished. I shook my head and looked in the front seat again and then around a bit for the guys. "The boys are inside, checking us in." She answered my question. "You were asleep and I didn't wanna wake you up." I nodded in response and stared blankly out the window.

It's inside of you.

All you have to do is let it in.

You feed off of the darkness.

The demons words pressed through my skull, leaving an aching feeling in my temples. There's no way he was right. I kept thinking about the 'darkness' he said there was inside of me.

'Demons lie.'

I kept telling myself the same thing over and over. I knew they did. But what if this time a demon told the truth?
