Harley's POV:
I knew that I was too rough on Viper. I knew that if she was keeping something from me it was with good reasoning. But I was still hurt, still mad. I decided to go to bed early. I changed into my pajamas and sunk into Sam and I's bed. I closed my eyes and started to drift off.
Viper's POV:
I revved the engine of my impala, driving way over the speed limit. I couldn't believe she said she didn't need me. Even if it was just the anger talking it hurt.
I pulled up to a bar and got out of Black Betty, slamming my door a little harder than expected. I tried to act all tough and pissed but failed by leaning down to inspect my car, making sure I didn't do any damage. I straightened, fixed my jacket, and continued walking into the bar. I sat on the barstool and let out a long sigh.
"Rough night?" A male voice asked me. I turned my head to see a man with jet black hair and brown eyes smiling at me.
"Yeah, you could say that."
I wasn't much on small talk, and it definitely wasn't my thing when I was pissed.
"Whiskey." I told the bartender.
"Strong drinker, huh?" The guy mext to me asked.
"Yeah." I replied, taking a shot and tapping it on the counter to signal another.
"Where are you from?" He asked another question as the bartender filled my glass. I figured this guy wasn't going to give up on the small talk so I gave in.
"Little town. You?" I asked.
"Same here, you don't seem like the type of girl to be in a place like this." He smiled.
"If that's your attempt at a pickup line I suggest you find another." I laughed, taking another shot. He laughed back.
"Yeah, I didn't think it would work."
I turned around to see a couple of biker guys playing pool. I hadn't played in forever. Flashbacks of Dad and I playing pool flew into my mind. I looked away to avoid the sadness that came with most memories.
"A pretty girl like you must have a man on some leash by now." He smiled. My mind flew to Dean, as I ordered a Jack and Coke.
"No," I replied. "Not really."
"Oh is that so?"
"Yes sir it is," I replied, taking a sip of my drink.
"Well does that mean I can ask you out on a date sometime?" He questioned, smiling again. His eyes hit my differently this time, his smile less inviting. At first I thought it was just Dean weighing on my mind but I decided to nicely decline anyway. After a few more drinks I said my thanks to the bartender, gave her a twenty and made my way to the door. As I reached my impala I felt the presence of someone behind me. I turned around to see the man from the bar in front of me. I jumped slightly before giving him an odd look.
"I didn't catch your name." He said, smiling still.
"Vi." I replied, not wanting to reveal too much information about my self.
"I like it." He replied, putting his hand on Black Betty and leaning his face closer to me. I looked over at his hand then to his face again. His eyes turned a solid black.
Great.
Dean's POV:
I had tried to call Viper a few times. I don't like her storming off in a pissed rage like that. Sam went back to his room and I turned on the tv, trying to divert my attention away from Viper for a while. I was starting to drift off slightly when I heard my phone ring. I looked to see Vi's contact name pop up. I answered it immediately.
"Hello? Wait Vi slow down. What happened?"
Viper's POV:
"Hey Dean, yeah uh-we have a situation." I said into the phone. I was bouncing around with every bump in the road. I was now stuffed in the truck of some car, being kidnapped by the man in the bar. "Who would've thought that turning down a date would result in this." I mumbled to myself.
"Huh?" Dean said over the phone.
"I'm in the trunk of a car at the moment." I simply said.
"Wait, what?" His voice raged.
"Yeah, I-uh-got kinda bar-napped I guess." I said, trying to ease the seriousness of the situation with humor.
"Where are you." Dean said sternly. I brought my foot up and kicked taillight that was in front of me. After a few times it finally flew out and bounced down the road beneath me. I looked around for any street signs or gas stations.
"We just passed a sign that said 'clover hill'." I told him. Glad that there was some sort of fresh air in the trunk now.
"I'm coming to get you." He said before hanging up. I felt the car come to a stop and I hurried to hide my phone. The man opened up the trunk and yanked my out.
"Feisty one." He practically scolded, as he looked at the missing taillight.
"You have no idea." I replied, cocking an eyebrow at him.
"Watch it." He spat, shoving me forward.
"You know," I said, looking over my shoulder at him, "if you were going to surprise me with a date I definitely wouldn't have chosen this dump." I said in a snarky tone, talking about the abandoned building I was now in front of.
"You just don't know when to shut up, do you?" He replied devilishly. I laughed.
"Not in the least."
He didn't say anything for a moment. Then all I felt was a sharp pain in the back of my head.
Dean's POV:
I cursed under my breath as I headed out towards the parking lot. I know that I should've followed Viper. I got behind the wheel and froze. I couldn't get my thoughts straight. I finally snapped myself out of it and started the car. I'd call Sammy later and explain.
The whole ride I kept debating with myself of why I let her walk out. Knowing what could happen to her. I kept cursing at myself. I turned Led Zeppelin up and gripped the wheel tighter. She probably hates me for not saving her. She was getting a stern talking to when I found her.
Viper's POV:
I woke up with my arms above my head and my feet barely grazing the ground. I looked around a bit until my eyes stopped at a figure on the other side of the room.
"You don't make these torture chambers very comfortable do you?" I sarcastically spat, trying to wiggle free.
"Oh good, you're awake." The same man as before turned to look at me.
"I wish I wasn't." I mumbled. He ignored my comment and grabbed a knife from the metal table in front of him.
"Tsk tsk tsk," he said, walking over to me slowly. "You've been a bad girl Ms.Remington." He stated lowly.
"Was that supposed to be seductive?" I scoffed.
"You seem a little hostile." He replied, ignoring my question, still nearing me.
"To say the least." I rolled my eyes.
"Better get to spilling those guts of yours, before I spill them for you." He said, pushing the blade agains my ribs.
"Over my dead body." I replied coldly.
"Tempting, but no can do," he stated, "the boss wants you a live." I went to talk but he cut me off. "And trust me, I'm just as disappointed about that as you are." He scoffed, pushing the blade harder. I gritted my teeth to stop from screaming at the pain.
"You son-of-a-bitch." I spat.
"How sweet," he replied. "where's your little lover boy?" He asked, bringing the blade up to my face. I wanted to flinch but my body remained still. I stared into his eyes and didn't reply. "He must not care the way you think he does." He whispered, sliding the blade down my cheeks, making a small gash. I breathed in deeply, feeling the anger build up.
"You don't know shit." I said calmly.
"Oh but I do," he replied, giving me a devilish look. "I know much more than you think."
