Harley's POV:

We were headed to San Francisco, California. We knew that it would take a couple of days to get there so we planned on staying at motels in between states. After 14 hours and 41 minutes of driving we reached a small motel in Missouri. We planned to go from Missouri to Colorado then to Nevada to California. We'd wake up and leave early in the morning and make it to Colorado, go to a motel and repeat the process until we got to San Fransisco. It was time consuming but it was worth it to get my mind off of Lilith for a few days.

We pulled into the motel and got out of the Impala. We got our rooms and the first thing I wanted to do was sleep. It was 10:14 pm. I walked into the room and flopped on Sam and I's bed. I couldn't wait to gank this werewolf and get back to our normal schedule.

Viper's POV:

We had all taken turns at driving and it seemed to have exhausted us all. I sat on the bed and started taking my boots off as Dean brushed his teeth.

"Did we really have to go across the country for some werewolf?" He mumbled through his toothpaste. I sighed and got up, walking to join him.

"It's her way of ignoring whatever is going on in that head of hers." I told him, starting to brush my teeth too.

"And what would that be?" He asked, spitting in the sink in front of me.

"I have no clue." I admitted. He nodded and walked over to the bed.

"You think it's about that demon case?" He questioned. I rinsed my mouth out and walked over to join him.

"Probably." I replied. He could tell I didn't really wanna talk about it so he just nodded and rolled over in the bed. "Night, Bitch." I remarked jokingly.

"Night, Jerk." He replied. I could hear the jokingness in his tone and I smiled to myself. The next 2-3 days were going to be long.

Harley's POV:

*5:36 am*

I sat there on my laptop, scrolling through news articles. Everyone else was asleep but my nightmares kept me up most of the night. I had fixed a cup of hot chocolate and was waiting for everyone else to wake up so I figured I'd do some research to pass the time. Nothing really caught my attention until I saw 'Colorado woman attacked in woods near her home.' In bold letters. I clicked on it and began reading the article. I was so deep in thought that I hadn't even noticed Sam wake up.

"Find anything?" He questioned. My eyes sprung from my screen to, a very tall, Sammy standing in front of me. I didn't reply for a few seconds and he gave me a concerning look, snapping me out of my stupor.

"Oh-uh, yeah actually." I replied, looking back down at my laptop before turning it to face him. "It says here that a woman was out in the garden, near the woods, behind her home when something attacked her and nearly ripped her to shreds." I explained. He furrowed his eyebrows and continued to look at the screen. "The autopsy game back negative for any foul play so the police just debunked it as a bear attack." I told him.

"Do you believe that?" He asked me.

"No, I don't. And neither does her son." I replied, showing him a picture of the woman's son. "His name is Jake," I continued. "He's reported telling the police that a bear didn't kill his mom. "It was a wolf," he claims." I finished.

"So what do you suggest?" Sam asked.

"I guess we go to Colorado and question the son." I told him.

"Sounds good. We'll go get Vi and Dean, get some breakfast, and head to Colorado." He stated. I nodded and shut my laptop.

We walked a little ways down the hallway and stopped at Vi and Dean's room. I knocked and entered when I figured the coast was clear.

"We're headed to Colorado." I told Vi, who was tying the laces of her boot.

"But-" she went and I interrupted her.

"No 'but's. Colorado, we're goin." I told her.

"No, I know. I just wanted some breakfast first." She pouted. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"We'll get breakfast first, Vi."

"Yay!" She shouted like a kid.

We left the motel and got to a diner down the road a ways and went inside. Sam and I didn't eat, Dean and Vi did and she shot the waitress dirty looks, per usual.

"So a werewolf attack in Colorado?" Vi questioned.

"Yep," I replied. "Pretty gruesome according to the article."

"Wow," Dean said. "That's why I don't garden, or eat vegetables."

"Yeah," Sam laughed. "That's why."

"So," Viper spoke up. "Was no body going to address the elephant in the room?" We all shot her confused looks and she glanced over at the waitress. We followed her glance and continued to give her confused looks. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "She's been itching her arms for the past 30 minutes and looking around like the mafias after her."

"Well, maybe the mafia is after her." I joked. Sam giggled and Viper shot me a glare.

"I have a feeling someone's 'doggy' senses are kicking in and they smell a couple of hunters." She replied, ignoring my comment.

"You think she's one of em?" Dean asked her. She shrugged in response

"Guess there's only one way to find out." She stated, getting up from the booth and walking over to the counter to face the waitress.

Viper's POV:

"Hi, ma'am? Could I ask you a question?" I asked, pulling the waitresses attention away from her notepad.

"Yes?" She questioned, smiling. Her nostrils nearly appears to be flaring in and out. As if she was sniffing the air around her. She gave me an odd look afterwords.

"Could I talk to you," I asked, pulling the side of my jacket back enough for her to see my pistol. "Outside?" She looked around a few times before looking back at my pistol and then my face.

"Yeah," she said as she untied her apron. "Sure thing." I smiled a little and turned around to go outside, her following behind.

"What is this about?" She questioned, crossing her arms.

"I think you know." I replied, leaning against a nearby car.

"Look, if this is about your boyfriend I wasn't flirting." She stated. I rolled my eyes and she started to walk away. I grabbed her arm and spun her towards me, pinning her against the wall with a blade to her throat. She smirked lightly and I saw a glimmer in her k-nine like eyes. "I should've known. I can sniff out a Remington anywhere." She stated. Her comment stunned me and she took the opportunity to switch our position. "Didn't your mommy ever tell you not to get in a dogs face?" She sneered, pressing the blade to my throat, making a small cut. "They might bite." She spat. I felt the blade go across my throat lightly.

"You're a real bitch." I spat.

"Oh Honey, you have no idea." She smirked, pulling the blade into the air. I closed my eyes and prepared for the spearing pain that was about to collide with my heart. I heard a small groan and opened my eyes, her mouth dropped blood and her eyes lost their glimmer as she fell to the ground. Behind her stood a panting Harley. I stared at the dead werewolf before me and then back at Harley.

"Guess she was a werewolf after all." I breathed.

"You shouldn't have went alone." Harley commented sternly.

"Harley, I had it under control."

"You call THIS under control?" She raised her voice. I rolled my eyes and started to walk away before she grabbed my arm. "Look, you may be the older sister but I be dammed if I'm not gonna protect you too. We're in this together, remember?"

"Yeah," I stated, looking down. "I remember." She patted my shoulder and I turned to walk back into the diner with Harley behind me. She couldn't possibly believe that I somehow didn't see the change in her. Something was up and I planned to get to the bottom of it.
