4th and Last Day

HINDI makatulog ng maayos si Liam knowing that Maeve is sleeping soundly beside him. Pagkatapos siyang sukahan ni Maeve kagabi ay dinala niya ito sa hotel room niya.

He cleaned her up and changed her clothes. It took every ounce of his self-control to not fuck her. Kahit na sobrang tinitigasan na siya. Hindi naman kasi siya lasing. He only had 2 bottles of beer last night.

Mas lalo siyang natukso nung hubaran niya si Maeve at nakita niyang wala itong suot na bra. He keeps on cursing under his breath.

He looked at her sleeping beside him. Napaka amo ng mukha nito habang natutulog. He can't help but stare at her face. From her perfectly arched eyebrows to her luscious lips.

Bumangon siya ng dahan dahan dahil ayaw niyang magising ang dalaga. He took a shirt and put it on. Bago siya lumabas ng kwarto ay hinalikan niya muna sa noo si Maeve.

NAGISING si Maeve dahil parang binagsakan ng buko ang ulo niya. God her head is throbbing. Bumangon ito sa kama ng nakapikit. "Argh!" She says and massaged her temples.

Unti unti niyang iminulat ang mga mata niya at laking gulat niya nung na realize na wala siya sa hotel room niya. Her eyes went down to her body. "Omygosh! Ano nanamang katangahan ang ginawa ko?" She asked herself. She's wearing a shirt with a familiar scent.

She scanned the room at hindi siya pwedeng magkamali. The room where she's in is Liam's hotel room. She recognized it by the view outside.

Damn how did I end up in here? She mentally asked herself.

Napaayos siya ng upo nung marinig niyang bumukas ang CR. Her eyes went wide sa nasilayan niya. Niluwa ng CR si Liam, a towel wrapped around his waist. Beads of water are dripping from his hair down to his masculine body.

Napalunok siya pero she got her composure back. "What am I doing here?" She asked him even though hindi mawala ang tingin niya sa napaka perpektong abs nito.

"I see you don't remember what happened last night." He said and took a spare towel to dry his hair.

Nakatingin lang si Maeve sa ginagawa niya. "I wouldn't ask if I know the answer." She said.

"Why so sassy babe?" He said with a smirk.

"Cut the crap Liam. What happened? Why am I here? Did you get under my pants again?" Hindi mawala ang bitterness sa boses nito. Yes, she was still hurt because she thinks that he just wants her body.

Napapikit si Liam sa sinabi niya. "I didn't touch you last night. You were so drunk that you let a stranger lick your body at the Bar. Nagpapa body shot ka, do you remember that?" He said with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Hindi naka imik si Maeve. Damn she's right. May katangahan nanaman siyang ginawa.

"I couldn't stand seeing you there so I grabbed you and took you here. Pero before that, sinukahan mo ako." Pagpapatuloy niya sa kwento.

Naka tungo lang si Maeve after hearing his explanation. She doesn't know what to say. Her heart feels like melting nung narinig niyang walang nangyari sa kanila. Kahit na alam nitong lasing siya, he didn't took advantage of her.

"I'm sorry." Was all she could say to him.

Liam heaved a sigh and went to sit beside her. "Don't be, okay? It's alright." He said in a soft voice.
