Chapter 4

June 22nd 2014.

Today is the day me and Tiana are going to LA and holy fuck I'm excited. I hardly slept last night but I had so much excitement running through my body you couldn't tell. Yesterday I spent about an hour or two shopping for some last minute clothes, I packed every summer dress I have, sandals, shoes and all. My mom Joan, wasn't all for me and Tiana going at first but after persuading her and telling her how good and brilliant LA is she finally gave in. I just want to go there and make her proud.
Me and Tiana are currently at the airport waiting for our flight to be called. "Do you want anything to eat?" Tiana asked whilst getting some money out of her purse. "Erm just a bottle of water and a nice sandwich. Hurry tho our flight might get called". I watched Tiana walk over to the food stand and get our order. I'm so thankful for Tiana, if she didn't have mad music skills I wouldn't of had the confidence to sing in front of her, upload videos to YouTube or write music so I am so greatful for her and what she's done, I love my bestfriend so much. Say if I got noticed by someone big or whatever, I wouldn't do it as a solo artist, Tiana would be by my side. I can't do it without her. "Flight B42 to Los Angeles plead board now at gate G" we heard the robot type voice say. We jumped up off our seats and ran to gate G. This is it, LA here we come.

We touched down in LA about twenty minutes ago and the flight was long and tiring but me and Tiana wasn't tired, we had too much excitement and adrenaline rushing though our bodies to even care about sleep. We just got into the taxi to take us to our hotel.

We arrived at our hotel about ten minutes ago, the hotel wasn't fancy or anything but this was all we could afford and this was the best we could get. "Hey do you want to go to the bar?" I asked Tiana. I just want to chill at the bar with my bestfriend on our first night, sounds like a good plan to me. "Yeah sure, let me change first" "yeah me too". After about an hour of getting ready, we were done. I was dressed in a black leather pencil skirt with a matching bralet with some black heels and Tiana was wearing a black jumpsuit with some thigh high boots. we love to match haha. We made our way into the bar which was only five minutes away from our hotel. We took a seat at the bar and the bartender came over "Hey what can I get for you guys?" "can we have one martini and one double vodka and coke please" Tiana said to him. Surprisingly the man behind the bar didn't ask for ID.

A few hours have gone by and the bar was starting to fill up. Me and Tiana haven't had a lot to drink but we was having a great time. We had met some people but they had to get going, they were nice though. "Oh my god Ari look, that man is setting up a karaoke machine. You should do it!!" "you think? what song should I do?" "Listen by Beyoncé, get up there so you can sing first." I can't believe I'm doing this. I made my way up to the little stage and stood infront of the man who was setting up. "Hey can I put my name down for this please?" "Yeah sure what's your name?" "Ari" "you can go first Ari". I nodded my head and he gave me a mic as the song began. Not many people were looking at me but hopefully they will be when I get into the song.

I'm not at home in my own home". I sang and I opened my eyes and everyone in the bar was looking at me with smiles on their faces, some were even recording me. I was on the last verse of the song and I heard loud cheers and I opened my eyes and people were clapping for me and that just got to me. Tears began to slip down my cheeks, I've wanted this forever. I hit the last note and the song ended . I looked at Tiana and her cheeks were wet from her tears, her eyes were wide and she looked at me and then pointed to her left. I looked over to what she was pointing at I couldn't believe my eyes. Justin fucking Bieber was stood there with his arms folded and a smirk on his face. What the fuck.
