Chapter 9

 Abby pov

 A smile passed my lips as I stood on the porch watching him walk away, that kiss was amazing, the whole afternoon had been amazing even my mini breakdown. I just felt like I could tell him anything and the feelings I got when I touched him let alone kissed him were phenomenal. I can barely begin to describe them. My smile just grew wider and wider as I thought about him, I’d known him one day and I was already head over heels in love with him and I didn’t even know how why or even if it was possible, yet here I was grinning like a Cheshire cat thinking about the kisses I’d just had with a guy I'd just met.

 As he rounded the top of the street I stepped back and shut the door turning round and heading into the house ready and willing to face all the questions from Aunt Jen. I still couldn’t believe they knew each other, talk about a small world, I wonder what she thought of him, well I guess I’ll find out soon enough I thought to myself as I shuffled into the living room where she was sat on the couch waiting for me.

 “Hey hunny come sit down” she gestured patting the seat next to her on the big cream leather corner sofa.  I smiled and made my way over to her jumping into the corner bit and sinking into the leather with a smirk on my face as I jumped and made her fly into the air

 “I’m sat” I smiled “quiz away” I chuckled to myself

 “So you like him then?” she asked already knowing the answer just by the look on my face,

 I nodded and blushed as she sighed bringing her hands up to her face and rubbing them across her eyes

 “Yeah I know hunny, he’s a nice boy I’ve known him and his family a long time” she said quietly not looking at me just looking down to the floor. Ok this was making me feel uneasy and making my good mood slip, I’d never seen her like this, she was always so chatty, loud and in your face that to see her quiet and subdued really was not right

 “Aunt Jen are you ok, I’m sorry I’m late it won’t happen again” I didn’t like seeing her like this maybe I shouldn’t have taken the piss stopping out late on my first day,

 “I’m fine hunny and it’s not that I need to talk to you about your dad”

 My mouth fell open in shock, my dad why bring dad up, what had he got to do with this

 “Erm ok why?” I stuttered out unsure of what was to come

 “Do you remember anything about his trips away or the people that used to come to your house, any of his friends?” she quizzed me still not looking at me

 I shook my head still in shook wondering where this conversation was going

 “Ok, what did your mum tell you when he disappeared?”
