Chapter 15

The rest of the morning flew by in a blur. People coming up to me banging on and on about me standing up to bleach blonde bitch aka Whitney. Apparently she was the biggest bitch at the school and most of the kids that didn’t see me yell at her had wished they had seen me knock her down a peg or two. Milo had never left my side, his arm staying protectively around me a grin never leave his face as he showed me off proudly to everyone, especially the other shifters in his pack. I hadn’t realised there was so many in the school. About a third of the school was actually shifters and apparently they had been told about me at some pack meeting. Don’t get me wrong I was a bit pissed off that everyone had a meeting about me knowing my business but Milo had explained to me that everyone only got told the basics not everything that had happened. They knew my dad was Adam, apparently he was well known and that I had changed to be just like him a black Alpha. They also knew someone was after me so they had to be vigilant and watch after me. Personally I thought they were making a big deal out of it, I mean this guy only wanted revenge on dad it had been seven years surely he wouldn’t still want me

I leaned back into my chair looking up at the clock and sighed, geography, as much as I enjoyed school this teacher just radiated boring, I willed the bell to hurry up so we could get lunch I was starving. I'd hardly eaten over the last week and my appetite had come back today with a vengance. I wondered what they had in the canteen I could eat anything but I hoped it was something really greasy and fattening like burger or pizza, oh yeah I could really eat pizza I thought smiling as my belly rumbled loudly making Milo chuckled and look over at me. He was sat next me with Dan the other side of me, I was sandwiched in, in a twin sandwich…mmm sandwich I thought I could even eat one of those or two or three.

#geez baby I know you’re hungry but the more you think about the more your making me hungry# his voiced laughed in my head making me glare at him. I concentrated focusing on where the voice was coming from

#well someone ushered me out before breakfast this morning and if you didn’t wear me out all night I wouldn’t be as hungry# I managed to say through our link as my belly let out another rumble making Dan look over at me this time

“Hungry Abby” he chuckled nodding his head towards my stomach making me blush

“Yep you try hardly eating for a week and see what your body does” I muttered turning towards him frowning

“A week, hell no I can’t even go two hours without eating something, high metabolism Abby” he laughed winking at me making Milo let out a low growl that made his brother laugh loudly

#baby calm it# I focused and pushed into his mind I really was, pleased with myself I was getting the hang of this mind talking thing, I don’t know how the rest of shifters managed it with a whole pack. Apparently I didn’t have the link to the rest of them because I wasn’t a part of their pack and I didn’t have a link to dad because he’d left me and broken the link. Basically even though I had Alpha blood and I was mated to Milo with his Beta blood I wasn’t a part of a pack yet. Well I think that’s how Milo explained it; I’d have to ask dad later when we had our talk. Oh good the talk, I'd nearly forgotten about the talk.

The bell brought me out of my daze as everyone jumped up and ran out of the class room towards the canteen. I jumped up as my belly let another rumble out and grabbed my bag, heading towards the door ramming Milo and Dan out of the way
