Chapter 9: Surprise Date

I slipped on my black skinny jeans with ease then pulled my white graphic tee over my head. The look I was aiming for was casual and fun, and I think I hit it with this outfit all completed with some black boots. I brushed my hair out, as the wavy blonde strands of my hair drifted over my shoulders. I applied a touch of mascara and eyeliner, then looked at myself. I was presentable, wearing a shirt that didn’t have a movie or a logo, just some quote in fancy cursive writing. Luckily I was never insecure, I had hips, the hour glass figure, and even if I didn’t I wouldn't really mind. Still me.

Grabbing my phone and shoving it down my back pocket, I grabbed a light jacket from my closet and put it on as I ran down the stairs. Of course mom was working again, she’ll have to learn about this later. I’ll just leave her a quick note.

Mom-Just going out for a bit. May be back late, no later than midnight. Love ya, L.

I had no idea how late I’d be, it was only 8 or so, and that’s when he wanted us over. Well, me anyways. That did get me thinking… What if they both set this up so it’d be just me and him? I’ll fall for it anyways, I didn’t care, I was feeling completely relaxed about this whole hang out. Which was very surprising, usually I get this stomach knot before these kind of things. Tonight, I felt nothing.

I slipped out of the door and locked it, and right as I was about to hop into my car, someone honked at me.

“You didn’t think you were coming to my place were you?” he called out. I glance over at the street and see Louis in his own car, windows down and one hand on the steering wheel. I didn’t even hesitate to go running from my driveway and right into his car. Did Chloe give him my address? Oh my gosh I bet she did.

“Okay Tomlinson, how do you know where I live?” I ask, putting on my seatbelt. He chuckles as he drives away from my home.

“Got some inside information from a friend,” Oh great. I won’t bring Chloe up, maybe he’ll blurt it out accidentally.

“Really? What did this “friend” tell you about me?” He licks his lips before he answers.

“Well for one where you live, and your football team,” She?

“And did this “she” happen to be Chloe?” He doesn’t hesitate to nod.

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it, it’s just easier if the guy takes you to the place” he says with a laugh. I couldn’t help but chuckle a little.

“Aww, well thanks. I always thought it was the other way around but whatever,” I mutter to myself.

“What do you mean?” he asks.

“Usually the girl stalks the hot guy,” I point out. Did I just say that? Oh dear God I did not mean to say that.

“So you think I’m hot?” He beamed. I couldn’t help but blush with my answer.

“Well, you do have a nice bum,” Let me tell you I was pretty proud to say that, wait no, what? Now he starts laughing as he pulls into another street. “Where are you taking me anyways?"

“You’ll see, nowhere unusual,” he says immediately. I lean my head on my hand as I watch the houses on the street fly by. It was only a few minutes later he pulled up to a movie theater.

“Good choice,” I point out.

“Thanks, I’ve always wanted to do this,”

**************

“Lou, I think you picked the funniest but stupidest love story ever,” We were walking out of the theater, right when a huge gust of wind hit us. I guess I expected him to pick a romantic comedy.

“Hey, I thought that was pretty cute, you had to admit you liked it a little,” he remarks.

“Okay, you’re right. It was pretty nice,” I shivered a bit as another blow of wind hit us. I wrapped my jacket tighter around me, zipping it all the way up. He noticed this and gave me a look of concern.

“Cold?” he asks. I nod. Oh no he wasn’t going to pull the jacket thing on me was he?

“Just a little, I’m okay,” He looks away from me and keeps walking, just a little faster.

“Come on, I don’t know how it gets cold so fast,” He says, gently grabbing my hand and pulling me to his car. I was a little taken back at the gesture, but went along with it as I quickly jogged up to him and walked quickly by his side. When we reached his car, he opened up the door for me and closed it right after I got in. I did hate this cold, I wanted to get out of it as fast as possible. When he shut the door after he got in, he breathed out a huge breath.

“Woah, cold enough in the car too,” he looks at me. I nod and look forward. It takes me a few seconds to say anything to him.

“Thanks Lou, for the movie,” It comes out a little more rushed than usual. He doesn’t seem to notice though.

“No problem, I had fun, and the fun isn’t ending yet,” Wait what. Was he going to take me back to his place or do some really weird thing with me since I considered myself a freak? Oh no.

“Relax, it’s nothing out of the ordinary, maybe you’d like to see my place for once,” he says, reading my mind.

“Alright cool, I’m up for it,” I reply happily. “Is it suppose it be like your temporary home or something?”

“You could say that, it’s always fun to have a little place in London,” he answers. I guess so for someone famous, you could afford one.

And boy he really went far with this one.

Hmm....no thoughts about Chloe Lou? You guys will find out sooner or later. Sorry this one is so short, I needed to split it up and this seemed like a good stopping point. Not much of a cliff hanger, but you guys just wait. -Lexy :) XXXXXXX
