We went to bed so late, and when I woke up, Brecklyn was out still. It's two in the afternoon, and I've been up for a half hour. I have a few outfits at her house, so I showered and got dressed for the day.

I'm standing in the kitchen, and I can't help but notice that she has no food.

By no food I mean her fridge is literally empty.

Confused, I open the freezer, and that too, is empty.

The cabinets where she puts the food are empty.

I stand there, confused.

Why doesn't she have any food?

I want her to wake up.

I wander impatiently around her house.

There are a lot of windows. It's homey, and she keeps it clean.

The memories of last night hit me, and I can't help but feel bothered.

Why did she freak out so bad?

I mean, would having a baby with me really be that horrible?

I don't think I've ever brought up the topic. I definitely, no doubt about it, want kids.

I'll never leave her if she doesn't.

I'll suck it up and live my life playing with everybody else's babies, but...I just really want kids with her.

I lean against the kitchen counter, sighing.

I don't want to play with somebody else's kids.

I want to play with ours.

She walks into the kitchen then, and I blurt the question.

"Do you want kids?"

She looks at me, rubbing her eyes.

"What?"

"Do you want kids?" I repeat.

She stares at me, and then she shrugs.

"Not really."

I stare at her.

"You don't?"

"No. I thought we talked about this."

I shake my head.

She shrugs again.

"I just..." she hesitates. "Don't. I grew up watching all these kids..." she shrugs. "I just don't. Why? Do you?"

"Yeah..." I trail off.

"Oh."

Silence.

"It's fine." I speak up. "Really. Now why don't you have food?"

"I've been at Emma's." she says.

"Alright. Let's go get food, and then go grocery shopping." I say.

Alright, this chapter is super short.

The next chapter will be a time skip, and then the end. I'll be making a sequel.
