"Buck, it'll be fine. He's one of my oldest friends and he may take some getting used to but he's great after a while." you reassured on the topic of one your best friends coming to visit.

"I know. Steve just told me how he found him awfully strange at first but he was nice enough eventually."

You nodded and pressed a kiss to Bucky's cheek. Truthfully, you didn't think they would get along at all. This old friend of yours was not only a 'vexing antihero' as you usually described him but pretty flirty and pretty masked. Literally. He never took off his mask.

"Knock knock." The familiar muffled voice from the other side of the door disrupted you from your thoughts. Inhaling sharply, you opened the door with Bucky behind you.

"My God, is it great to see you." Wade Wilson exclaims in what you know is his exaggerated happy tone as he wraps his arms around you.

"Wade meet Bucky. Bucky meet Wade." Wade extends his Deadpool suit encased hand to Bucky. His left hand, actually. Bucky hesitates before reaching his metal arm to Wade's open hand.

Forgetting all about his handshake request, Wade takes Bucky's hand with a gasp and runs it along his face. "Oh yeah, that is good."

Bucky looks to you with furrowed eyebrows as Wade brings Bucky's hand down to his neck, embracing it's cool exterior. You cringe and shrug your shoulders whilst Bucky attempts to tug his hand away in as polite a way as he can manage.

"You must have a lot of fun with that when you're alone, huh big guy?" Wade's tone is as playful as usual but it seems that Bucky doesn't really catch on to the gist of his joke and instead offers an awkward chuckle.

"Wade!" you exclaim and he turns to you before making a sound of realisation.

"Oh sorry! This must be a PG. I'll tone it down." Again, you and Bucky look to each other in confusion, having no idea what he was going on about.

"Well I brought some wine...kinda. Technically, I just brought the broken bottle actually. Smashed it over some guy's head on the way over but the $9 spend was totally worth it." He lets the plastic bag fall to the floor and the audible sound of the shattered glass bottle radiates through the now silent room.

"So let's eat."

-

"So tell me Bucky," Wade began and you couldn't help but let out a groan. "What is it you do when you're not lounging around with my best pal, here."

"I'm an Avenger." Wade drops his utensils. Bucky looks up from his plate. You let your head fall forward onto the table.

"Did I ever mention how I love to work with Avengers?"

"You didn't and I don't think you need to, Wade."

"The super people are speaking (Y/N). Don't interrupt my quality time with my boyfriend."

"My boyfriend."

"Your boyfriend."  With that correction in place, Wade blabbers on about all of his encounters with the Avengers and Bucky sits with a fake smile plastered on his lips as Wade almost breaks your kitchen table trying to re-enact his car ride with Nat and Steve.

When Wade leaves, you're almost glad and you can tell Bucky is too. "Don't you love him?"

"I feel some way about him, that's for sure."

You send Bucky a playful glare and he rolls his eyes before walking towards where you were standing at the kitchen counter.

"Now that he's gone..." Bucky presses your body a bit closer to the kitchen counter and his own a bit closer to you. Just as he tilts your chin up towards his lips, a voice interrupts you from what sounds like your bedroom window.

"I thought this was a PG!"

"Go home, Wade."
