Since the day that Annabella finally talked to him, Hunter was simply happy and his friends were keep on teasing him because he has been in a good mood since then.  

"Boss..." Blake entered his room. "You have a visitor."  

He frowned then he found himself standing up with pounding chest because he saw his wife popped out from Blake's back. "What are you doing here?"  

She smiled as they walk towards to each other then she kissed his cheek and he expected that she'll answer his question but instead, she looked at Blake then smiled. "Thanks, Blake."  

"You're welcome."  

After Blake left, Hunter pinched her cheeks. "I didn't know that you two gotten too close already."  

She giggled then held unto his sides. "Come on, your friends are my friends too."  

He chuckled then kissed her forehead. "So what brought you here? This is the last place I will imagine you to visit."  

She pout. "You sounded like I hate The Fortress."  

He smiled sheepishly because truthfully, he was so glad deep inside of him to see her here then he pulled her towards to his desk. After making her seat in his lap, he wrapped an arm around her waist while she encircled her arms around his neck. "Did something good happen in the shelter?"  

Her eyes glow. "I actually leave the shelter early."  

He frowned. "Why?"  

Her eyes glow more. "I just need to confirm something."  

Upon hearing that, his heart thumped too fast then he stared hopefully at her. "So how was it?"  

She smiled happily then stared at him with bright face as she cupped his cheeks. "You're going to be a father soon."  

He felt the time has stopped and when he blinked his eyes, he realized his thumping heart. He could also literally feel all his pulses. "Really?"  

She nodded many times. "I am in my sixth week already."  

His mind automatically computes it and he remembered that it was the time they reconciled. Then he cupped her face and kissed her deeply. "I love you, baby."  

Her eyes soften. "I love you too." Then her eyes get teary. "We are finally going to have our own little one."  

He wiped her face. "Don't cry." Then he gently caressed her stomach. "I can't wait anymore."   

She giggled. "Me too."  

He kissed the bridge of her nose. "You should tell me earlier that you're going to visit a doctor so I could accompany you."  

"I wanted to be sure first and don't worry, there will be next time. Many times actually."  

He smiled then hugged her. "It seems that the misunderstanding happened between us was somehow a blessing in disguise."  

She hugged him tighter. "Yeah. But I don't want that kind of drama again."  

He chuckled. "Let's hope to that."  

She moved then looked at him. "You still don't have any plan to visit the kid?"  

He got startled then inhale deeply. "I honestly don't know if that will be a good idea."  

"But he is your son."  

"Biologically, yes but his mother doesn't want to confuse the kid anymore which I agreed."
