"Do you really want to get arrested at seventeen?" Officer Andrew asked as Grace sat in the chair with her helmet still on.
Nothing happened to Griffin because he hadn't done anything wrong supposedly, they had a little crash, but nothing more. But what came to Officer Andrew's nose was that Grace had driven a motorcycle again, when Andrew had told her she wasn't allowed on the road today especially with her fresh injuries.
"I don't know what to say to you, Grace. Every time I try, you don't listen, it's like it doesn't even comprehend into that head of yours." Andrew breathed out as Grace just sat there.
"Will you take off the helmet?" He asked as she shook her head.
"Why not?"
"I can't." She stated.
"It's stuck, isn't it?" He figured out.
"You are quite a girl to handle." He shook his head.
"You're not allowed on the road, for two weeks, you're banned from your bike." Officer Graham spoke as Grace just stared at his direction.
"What?" She questioned.
"You heard me, Grace. You're not allowed." He repeated himself without hesitation.
"With your injuries and driving past the speed limit you have to be punished, if not you could get a fine." Officer Martin spoke with sincerity and seriousness.
"So, I ride a motorcycle, then ride another one, crash into Griffin Waters and you're letting him off the hook?" Grace decided to make her point.
"Of course not, Griffin got away with it, because he was obeying the rules. But for the fact that he was speeding before, he only got a warning, just like you did. Until you decided to go against it." Officer Patrick admitted.
"You know that I love driving and riding."
"Of course, we do, Grace." Entered Senior Officer Blake.
"That's why I'm offering you a compromise." She spoke as Grace listened. "I'll let you drive still, if you do something for me."
"I want you to catch a criminal." Grace was surprised that Senior Officer Blake was asking this from her and being so forward.
"You want me? To help you? Especially catch a criminal?" She asked slightly amused.
"I know what you're thinking, why is the police asking for my help?" SO Blake spoke as Grace licked her lips.
"Well Grace, you are someone who is known around the force and you've done exceptional things despite your acts of going against us. But what you don't lack, is being able to crack something. I've seen you help Officer Andrew with a steamy case. I must say you are quite skilled." She proceeded as Grace just sat there listening to her words.
"It's not everyday, you ask someone who isn't a cop for help." She smiled.
"What's the condition?"
"Smart girl. You can't ride your motorcycle for two weeks, but you can drive your cars. You'll be able to work on your own or with your own team, selected by you." Despite the fact that Grace loved her cars more, she knew her motorcycle abilities were strong.
"What if I say no."
"You're not allowed to ride your motorcycle ever again." Grace's mind floated back to today's incidents.
Crashing first down the hill, then again into Griffin's motorcycle and now this.
"What's it going to be Grace?"
