Grace stared at the person to see it was Griffin.

"Sh." He mouthed as he placed a finger to his lips, letting go of Grace.

Grace turned her head to see The Attacker had disappeared. Grace sighed as he looked up at Griffin.

"Why did you do that?" She asked him with a hushed tone.

"I had too. You could've gotten hurt." Grace looked at Griffin in shock.

"What are you talking about?"

"That was a trap." Griffin answered.

"That isn't the real Attacker." He cleared her doubts.

"I had a feeling, but I-. Wait." She stopped. "What are you doing here? And how do you know about The Attacker?" She asked Griffin.

He licked his lips as he was about to answer her question,

"Haven't you heard about something called, The News?" Grace stared at Griffin who in turn looked calm.

Grace exhaled through her nose as she lifted up her hood as she was about to walk when Griffin stopped her.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I'm going home." Grace excused as she had to find Jack.

"Alright, I'll walk with you." Grace was stumped at the response. She couldn't allow Griffin to see her in search of Jack. She had to do something.

"It's fine." She answered.

He furrowed his brows and looked at Grace as she was trying not to look desperate. She needed to get away from here, even if Griffin told her that the person who she'd seen in the park wasn't the real Attacker. Surely they'd have some connection either way.

Grace felt something vibrate in her pocket, pulling out her phone she'd spotted Jack's name blinking on her screen. Answering it, Grace placed it to her ear.

"Grace. It's not the real Attacker." Grace glanced at Griffin before looking down.

"And guess what, I've caught the two of them. Come to the park."

Grace ended the call as she decided to run stuffing her phone in her pocket. Griffin had just stared at the brunette as she ran super fast, which wouldn't happen usually. The immense amount of work that her feet did, was nothing compared to her brain. Her brain was doubting lots of things and one of them was what Griffin had told her.

If this Attacker was a fake, surely there would be consequences and these consequences could risk someone's life, that too if they weren't careful enough to know that this was a phoney play.

Grace skidded to a halt as she reached the park where she was Jack staring down at the two people, Jack spotted Grace as she walked towards him.

"That was pretty fast." He mentioned.

Grace was analysing the area carefully. Why, you may think?

The Attacker may be striking at three but they know how and when to stage an attack, they think they can do things. So, if Griffin knew that this attacker was a fake, how wouldn't Grace be sure that this could be another staged moment. That, she had to find out and quick.

"Who are you?" Jack asked.

They were both on the ground, a few grazes upon their faces. Looks like, Jack had used some toughness out there to keep these two on the ground.

"How did you catch both of them?" Grace asked Jack.

"This one tried to escape through a wall, but this one was going towards the lake." Jack firstly referred to 'The Attacker' then to the second person who he was talking to.

"Who are you?" Jack repeated.

The two who were on the ground didn't even bother to talk.

"Not gonna talk, are we?" Jack spoke looking at the second person, before turning to The Attacker.

Jack pulled off 'The Attacker's' mask, both Grace and Jack looked curious and confused as to who it was. This wasn't called for.
