Officer Gemma was a police officer. A very interesting police officer. She has a tendency to show her caring and loving side and there's the mean bossy lunch lady side of her.

"Let's continue with the work. I'd rather not spend another minute talking about what happened." He shuddered in distaste as Griffin and Grace let loose a small chuckle at Jack's words.

"Okay, so we have information about this attacker. We're getting somewhere. So, from all Grace and I have collected, we know that The Attacker had only tried to attack four suspects." Jack started off returning to the swivel chair.

"James Archer, Maddison Turner, Wally Hunt and Molly Fosters." Griffin continued.

"They weren't killed they were attacked. They all have something in common. Their grandparents were friends." Grace answered.

"Yes, but it's not just about the friendship this attacker attacked them for. What if there was something hidden? Like a mysterious puzzle piece that's always lost somewhere underneath the sofa." Jack added.

"You could be right, do you have any suggestions?" Grace asked him.

Jack licked his lips and thought for a second. "Do you remember the book that was addressed to Grace?" Grace thought for a second before nodding her head.

"What if that's the path to show us who this attacker could be?" Jack tried to piece things.

"A book?" Griffin asked. "Did it happen to look something like this?" He asked as he pulled out a red book from his back pocket.

"How'd you fit it in there?" Jack asked.

"The books not really big and it was actually sent to me yesterday." Grace and Jack exchanged looks as Grace handed Jack the keys. He caught them and found the correct key to open the cabinet as he took the files and the book out.

Griffin's eyebrows raised up in surprise.

"I found one that was addressed to someone named, 'Grace'." Jack began as the three looked at each other.

Jack pulled it out as he opened up the page and there indeed did it have 'To Grace' engraved in their eleven sized font it was last seen with.

"What about this one?" Griffin asked, as he opened it up, "it's addressed to someone by the name of James." Griffin read out.

"What?" Grace breathed out.

"James? Could this James be James Arthur?" Jack tried as he knew what the answer was.

"What is this all. It doesn't make any sense."

"Wait! Was there a note that came along with that book, Griffin?" Griffin shook his head as the three looked confused.

"I wish this case wasn't so difficult." Jack accidentally whacked the book to the side of the desk as there was a small opening inside the book.

Everyone looked at each other curious as Jack pulled out the letter from the book holder. There was a little note, a faded  piece of cream with chipped edges.

"The second clue is just a start, for you have passed the test, the next is a race to take part. For you shall be set." Jack read out.

"What did that mean?" Griffin asked slowly.

"I'm not sure, but it surely is talking about a race. But what race is it?" Jack thought.

"Whatever it is, it surely is something worth preparing for, since we're going to be set. Apparently." Grace shook her head at the sound of it.
