"You don't have to say yes, straight away, but if you do, it's a day less from riding your precious motorcycle." Blake spoke, in other words bribed.

Grace was used to this sort of attention from the police, but what got her out of it was her innocent smile and quietness. Truth to be told she was very innocent. Riding a motorcycle and wearing leather jackets didn't have a hold on her, she only rode them because she enjoyed riding them.

Never mind the consequences, she was always a step ahead.

"Interesting start, Senior Officer Blake." Blake smiled uncontrollably. "But don't take my quietness for granted." Grace replied as she stood up, seeing a little falter in Blake's expression.

"You've got yourself a deal." SO Blake was surprised but extended her hand out as Grace shook it firmly.

"Great to see you on board. You can start tomorrow. Be here, 8 am sharp." Blake executed with a sharp nod as she left the room.

"See you tomorrow, Gracy-." Patrick cut himself off as he knew better not to mess with her name.

Grace left the room, taking off her helmet along the way, as she saw the gobsmacked expression on Andrew's face, she headed outside of the police station and made her way to her house.

Shaking her head, she rushed up the steps outside and made her way inside the house. Running up the flight of stairs, she entered the bedroom and closed the door shut.

Dropping her helmet on her table, Grace caught her reflection and sighed, feeling disapproved by her sudden injuries. The brown eyes were tainted with a darker colour as her face held a more pale texture to it than it already did. Her lips were still their natural rosy pink but her cheeks looked painful.

Sitting on her bed, Grace knew she had this forced upon herself and was always going to end up doing it, not because of Tania's motorcycle. Probably because she enjoyed riding on a motorcycle than she did enjoy watching others do it.

"I'm not sure what to say to you." Grace heard a familiar voice.

Without turning, or facing anywhere, Grace continued to hear the voice, ramble.

"Sometimes you seriously want yourself pinned down, don't you? Grace, you surely have lost it this time."

"I mean how can one person have that many injuries in one day?!" They asked shocked.

"Don't let people pull you down, Grace, especially in their twisted plans." They continued.

"Finished, yet?" Grace asked, gripping on to her footrest of her bed holding a calm expression already knowing this rant would continue if she didn't stop it.

"Of course not." Someone spoke, Grace turned her head to the window to see Evangeline staring out of her window and looking quite shocked at the bruises in Grace's face.

"Grace, what did you to yourself?" Evangeline worryingly spoke.

"It's nothing." Grace shook it off.

"Whenever you say that, there's always something bad. What did Tania do this time?"

"Did she sell you the stolen bike?" Grace's head lifted up.

"How do you know?" Grace asked slowly.

"Did you already know about it?" Grace asked Evangeline.

"Well, er. I told her not to sell it to you." Evangeline tried.

"Unbelievable." She shook her head, getting up.

"Grace, listen to me. I'm saying the truth, Tania sold it to you for somewhat of a reason but I told her not too." Evangeline continued.
