"Hello Jack." Jack hardened his stare at the person in front of him.
"Ah, I see you're giving me the cold shoulder." He shrugged as he walked to the side a little. "Happens, doesn't it?"
"I mean, it happens to gang-members. We get angry or-."
"I'm not angry."
"Then, what's wrong? You haven't been attending meetings and I need my boy with me."
"Your boy? Your boy. Hah. That's something coming out of you." Jack scoffed with a dry laugh.
"I don't understand." The leader of the Black Wharf gang spoke up looking confused and curious.
"I'm literally glad, I'm not going to those wasted meetings of yours. Save me a lot more time." Jack admitted standing his guard without flinching at his former gang-leader.
"Get to the point, boy." The leader looked impatient and worried.
"You know what I'm talking about. I quit that stupid group. I should've done it a lot more sooner." Jack struck Jeffrey Winston hard as he looked terrified.
"You are what?" He asked.
"You heard me right, old man." His eyebrows shot up at Jack's statement. "I quit. I want nothing to do with that gang ever again."
"Let me guess, Grace showed you, didn't she?" He asked as Winston turned his cold, icy eyes towards the tall brunette.
"That doesn't matter."
"Of course it does. I mean why would you suddenly drop and leave the group you were destined to be in."
"I left because I saw what a great manipulative skunk you are." Jack returned the cold eyes.
"Grace was only there to show me what a true friend is. Your group had done nothing but cause trouble to everyone."
"Is that what you really think, Jack? Do you really think I would want to deceive you. You are my main man." Jeffrey began talking.
"You had everything in the group. You were respected-."
"No, I wasn't." Jack shook his head calmly.
"Yes, you were. People would bow down to you in terror. You were happy. You were a supreme."
"Yeah a supreme moron. What you don't understand is, Winston. Your group were disgusting in everything they did. Luring in little girls, to get what you want, catching your criminals by putting little girls lives in danger. Now, tell me where was I happy?"
"You're just blinded by Grace, right now. She's showing you the bad ice of this gang life. Why don't you ask her who were former gang was?" Winston smirked as he folded his arms.
Jack turned slowly to Grace who glared at Winston. Silence fell upon the three, the sound of the wind howling and a few cars in the background but that was it.
"The Black Wharf." Grace admitted after a few long painful silence that was bought upon the two teenagers.
"Exactly." Winston admitted.
"I was the chief of that group." This shook both of them.
"Wh-what?" Jack asked.
"I was the chief. It was better before than it was now." Winston hardened his stare again.
"I left that group a few weeks after Winston came in, a complete tailgate. Supporting one side then going to the next." Winston narrowed his eyes which could be easily spotted as throwing slits. However, Grace ignored them.
"He was directly bashing and disgusting. Hurt so many people."
"What did you do?" Jack asked.
"I stopped him, but in turn, he was furious. That's when I left that group. Best decision of my life." Grace admitted a cold glare in her eye.
"That's how, the chief was split for two people. You couldn't handle all the responsibility by yourself, too much chaos. But I didn't know how you did it, Grace."
"I did better than you'd expect, Winston." Grace shot back lowly.
"So, Jack." Winston turned his eyes back to Jack. "Are you in? Or out?"
"My answer stays the same."
"Very well."
Winston stepped backwards as a couple of fighters approached, Winston had a sly smirk in his face, which clearly read, 'you-shouldn't-have-done-that'.
"Hello, old friend." One of the fighters spoke staring at Grace.
"Nice to see you, Jack." The other spoke as the two teenagers stood their ground, not stepping away.
"I'll give you another chance, Jack, after all you are a child."
"My answer isn't changing."
"Boys, you know what to do."
The fighters ran towards Grace and Jack, the two teenagers weren't contemplating in what to do, instead they shot back. Grace's fighting skills were beyond levels. She was experienced in this field and knew what to do.
Jack even surprised the gang members, he had shown them he wasn't pathetic, he showed them the trueness of messing with a teenage boy who wasn't going to back down.
Fighters threw themselves at the pair, as Grace dodged most of the punches and punched them hard. They either fell to the floor or kept going. Grace gave them a great swing as they collapsed.
A few more fighters approached her as she saw herself trapped. Her eyes fell onto a branch, just before the fighters were about to collide into her, Grace grabbed the branched and flipped herself over.
The fighting members had crashed into each other, as Grace saw another batch of gang-members come towards her. She had used martial arts tricking to flip them over, confuse them and even make them land on the floor.
Jack had done the same, he was very alert as he dodged many punches and had kicked weapons out of their hands. All in all, the two teenagers were winning this round. Even if they didn't know what was in store for them.
