'Leave her alone!' Someone called as Grace was staring at everything in curiosity.

'What are you doing?' Someone yelled, Grace turned her head to see Jack being beaten up by someone.

Grace's feet involuntarily moved towards Jack and saw that his face was swollen, but whoever he was against, he shot them pretty hard too.

She couldn't do anything and was just staring at the fight against them.

'Now go tell your little friend, she is nothing.' The person spoke, masking their identity with a black cloth. This time Jack was on the floor. He had been hit and was still breathing, but before he could get up; the person in front was ready to place their foot on him when Grace's hand grabbed the girl's arm.

She doubled her over as the girl grunted, but got up. She threw punches in the direction of Grace, but she missed them, a blow was shot brushing her shoulder. Grace and the person in front were skilfully pushing past each other whenever a punch was swung at them.

Extending her leg out, Grace ducked at the right time to see the girl kicking the air. The girl indeed was very strong but that never stopped Grace from blocking her throws.

Grace had the upper hand and knocked her down with her leg extended out. Her knuckles had slight stains of blood on them, yet Grace wasn't in any pain. She pulled down the mask that was shielding her face, covering any identity.

Grace was surprised to see who it was.

Opening her eyes, the sound of the usual alarm was beeping. Pulling the covers off of her, after silencing her alarm clock, Grace moved towards the bathroom. She stared at the mirror, seeing her pale face and bold brown eyes.

Switching on the tap, she placed her hands underneath feeling a vibration in her knuckles, Grace felt as if they were broken for a few, mere seconds.

Like in the dream?

Washing her hands, Grace washed her face and brushed her teeth. Deciding that she'd need a warm shower to warm her up, Grace entered the shower booth and allowed the warm water to graze her skin. Washing her hair, Grace felt relieved as she rinsed off and stepped out of the shower after switching off the faucets. Drying off, Grace changed into a pair of black jeans, a black undershirt and a light blue sweater with the words,

'Ocean'

Grace fixed her dark hair that looked genuinely neat. Tugging on a black cotton bomber jacket, Grace fixed positioned herself. She added her black socks and TOMS on this time as she grabbed her phone and bag.

Heading downstairs, Grace headed towards the kitchen, sitting down as the rest of her siblings sat down. Surprisingly, her parents were here too.

"Great to see all of you at the table." Grace's dad smiled.

"Yeah, wish we could say the same." Valerie muttered, as she took a bite from her breakfast.

Grace was eating her breakfast slowly as she heard the conversations strike up.

"How is school, Grace?"

"I heard you're attending and concentrating a lot more." Grace's mother smiled at her daughter.

"-." Grace didn't even have the opportunity to speak because Valerie was all over her.

"She goes to school, wow."

"School is quite interesting." Grace nodded her head.
