Chapter 3 - "Lets Make A few Videos."

"So it is now day 2 of Vidcon, and I'm going onto a panel with some of the other British YouTubers and it's pretty much a giant interview which I'm kinda excited about so lets get going." I said to my camera before I turned it off.

I walked to Will and RJ's apartment so I could get a lift to Vidcon, when I arrived I was greeted by Dobby their German Shepherd puppy who is the cutest thing on the planet. Will grabbed his keys and we all headed to the car.

It was a short drive to Vidcon as their wasn't much traffic today in Sunny California, We walked from the car to the hall and I left Will and RJ so they could do their meet and greet and I could go do the panel. I was now starting to feel sick with nerves as I approached the room we were doing the panel in, It was huge and their were thousands of chairs all staring at a table with 10 seats, one of which was mine. 

I walked in to see a group of people chatting in the back corner which I recognized, as I approached them they all fell silent. "Shit" I thought to myself, was I in the right place? I'm sure I was. I smiled and stood beside one of the girls, she was a lot older than me mid 20's, I knew who she was but I was too shy to say anything I just went red. The other girl stood opposite me Smiled at me and said "You must be Lola we were starting to wonder where you had got to" she giggled tunefully.

"Hi, yeah I am I thought I was in the wrong place...' I said quietly. The girl could clearly see I was nervous and who wouldn't be I knew them all and doubted they knew me. They were all huge compared to me and I started doubting if any of my fans would show up. My trail of thought was cut off by the boy I was stood next to, he was just as cute as all the other YouTube guys and maybe a little older than me to. "Hi I'm Joe, Joe Sugg and that's my sister Zoe and her boyfriend Alfie" he said pointing to the girl I had just been speaking to and the guy next to her. 

They both waved and I smiled as he continued to Introduce me to the others, there was Louise, Marcus, Louis, Jack and Finn. I greeted them all and started to feel a little more at ease. "So why are there 10 chairs if there are only 8 of us?" I asked. "There for our hosts, Troy Sivan and Tyler Oakley, they are nice guys and I'm sure you will get along just fine with them, they are also our friends so you should feel more at ease." Zoe said as she continued to smile.

I laughed, I knew exactly who they all were, I watched all their videos but for some reason they must have thought I lived in a cave or something because I was so quiet and shy, but I'm not usually like this. As I was thinking my thought was once again cut off by the screaming of girls as Troye and Tyler walked in. Zoe and all the others ran to hug them as I just stood by myself. 

"Lets get this show on the road!" Tyler shouted. "Wait a second Tyler who is that?" Troye said pointing at me. "Hi I'm..I'm Lola, Lola Laws I'm a daily vlogger for YouTube and I'm also on this panel." I said Smiling at Troye. Tyler smiled and hugged me and then We all went to sit down, I sat on the end closest to the wall next to Zoe who kept giving me a happy face so I would smile and not look so scared. The Vidcon volunteers opened the door and the people who had tickets began to fill up the thousands of seats. I didn't know any of these people which made me more nervous. Until a tall, dark haired guy walked in with 2 others and I recognized them instantly. It was Kian and his two friends Ricky and Connor, other members of Our Second Life.

He looked up at me and smiled as they took their seats which were reserved on the front row. "Why was he here?" I began to think to myself but to be honest I didn't really care I was just happy to have a friendly face here. 

The interview began and we all introduced ourselves and what we did, also where we came from and why we started our YouTube channels. I was the last to go and I didn't seem to feel to nervous anymore as when I introduced myself I got a huge cheer from some girls at the back and Kian and his friends, so I knew that some people were here for me.

"Lets have some questions from the audience!" Tyler announced half way through the panel. We all smiled and looked out to the audience where most people now had their hands up. The volunteers had microphones and one walked over to Ricky who was sat on the end of the front row and said "I have a Question for Lola" I smiled as he continued to ask what happened to my head with his cute lisp. I winked at Kian and then began to explain "Well you see I'm a bit of a cluts but then so is someone else in this room... I was walking to my meet and greet yesterday when a tall guy also from O2L walked straight into me and his teeth cracked my head open, I had to have 3 stitches and some painkillers while he got away scratch free. Thanks for that Kian!" I giggled as he began to sink down in his chair going red. 

The room erupted into laughter and soon enough Kian did too. There were a bunch of other questions and after 2 hours of this panel it finally came to an end. We all left the stage and the fans all began to pile back out of the hall, but Kian, Ricky and Connor came backstage with the rest of us.

I was talking and laughing with the people who were on the panel, getting their numbers so we could stay in contact, when I felt a soft grip on my arm, I turned around to see Kian in all his glory looking apologetically at me. I excused myself from the group and walked over with him to Ricky and Connor.

"Hey guys, I'm Lola" I smiled at them, they both smiled back introducing themselves. "Hey can we have a minute alone?" Kian asked me motioning the other two to go away, which they did they joined the other group. "Whats up?" I said starting to feel bad for embarrassing him while on the panel. "You never called?" He said pouting at me.

I laughed. "I didn't know you wanted me to call straight away, I thought it was like a generic offer to film a video together." I said quietly. "Well it was an offer for that but it wasn't generic, I only ask the people I "like" to film videos with me." he smiled back at me. God his smile made my heart beat like 20x faster. God him in general made my heart beat faster. He was Kian Lawley one of the hottest members of O2L and he wanted to hang out with boring old me.

"So do you want to film a few videos together?" he said repeating his question a second time. "Of course I do but can it be the day after tomorrow I have another meet and greet tomorrow and its the last day of Vidcon." I said apologetically. He smiled and said: "that would be perfect, text me and I'l come pick you up." He then wondered back over to Ricky and Connor and they all left.

I took my camera out to vlog. "Hey Dreamers, so the Panel was awesome and I'm sorry I didn't film before I went on I was really nervous but I have some of you guys asking questions so that should make up for it. I got to meet a lot of my favourite Youtubers today and I feel super blessed as I wouldn't have been able to do this without you." I motioned the camera to the group behind me that were now all starting to wave, I guess they heard me vlogging. "But the best was getting to answer some of you guys' questions. I am now going for a wonder to see Will and RJ and then bed for the night but it's so sad as tomorrow is he last day of Vidcon." I pouted and then continued to vlog as I left the hall.
