Sandy was back in Toronto and I was still here in New York. Aubrey had some business that he needed to finish here so we had to wait to leave but my brother thinks that I am gone. I had went and got my niece and nephews from their grandmother. She thought that it would be a good idea for them to go with me to Calabasas.

I told Aubrey everything that had happened at that damn family meeting and he was just as shocked as I was. The kids were watching movies with Chubbs and Forty that I had to make sure was kid friendly. The twins were sleeping and Aubrey was out handling everything he needed to do before we left for California.

I couldn't wait to enjoy the beautiful weather and get back to my fashion line. I was going to be running my company from Cali and maybe opening up a office over there on the west coast.

Shad, Kelly, and Carlos have been blowing me up but I haven't been answering them. The only person that I have been talking to is Shakeya. Y'all know he crazy pregnant ass wasn't going to let me get away with talking to her.

She was actually on her way over here. I know that Shakeya wouldn't tell then where I was. I love her crazy ass to death.

"Ya greedy ass sitting here eating up all the damn pizza from the kids." I heard Shakeya saying. I knew she was talking to Chubbs.

Them two argued all the damn time. I know that he likes her cause she is so gangsta. I had to just laugh to myself on that one.

"Girl leave Chubbs alone." I said to Shakeya.

"He fucking wit me by not giving me some damn pizza. You know my pregnant ass always hungry." She said.

"Oh shit you pregnant? I thought you just got fat as hell." Chubbs said. Shakeya gave him the finger and mouthed the words fuck you.

He laughed and said "Anytime baby."

I can't deal with these two going back and forth with each other. We went and sat in the office after those two were done arguing.

"How is Shad holding up? He has been calling me, but I don't speak to him. I just let his children talk to him and when they give me the phone back u just hang up." I said to Shakeya who was sitting across from me stuffing pizza in her mouth.

He looked at me and her face got very serious. She put the plate of pizza down on the desk.

"Does I'm going to be honest I am very worried about Shad. He has jumped head first into the drug trafficking life. His every move is about the cartel. Kelly has been wanting to talk with you cause the longer you and him go apart he his going to get deeper and deeper until it's going to be hard for him to get out. I know it hurt you that you didn't know about ya father but your brother's need you Des." She said.

I just gave her a confused look. She didn't say brother she said brother's. What the hell was going on with Carlos? By the look on her face she read my mind.

"Carlos has been out in the streets more so that he could watch Shad's back. He hasn't been making it to the doctor appointments. Hell I'm ready to pack my shit and leave too." She said following a large burp that made us both laugh.

I didn't know that things were getting bad between Shakeya and Carlos because of Shad and my drama.

"Well you know you are welcome to come to Cali anytime you need to get away. Our home is always open to you." I said to her.

I guess I struck a nerve or something because Shakeya was clearly upset. She threw the rest of her food in the trash which was not something she did now days.
