I don't know how Desire and Shad are going to feel, but they have to know. I was shocked when Lexi had reached out to me. Eva never told me that she had found her when she got older. I know that I have been hitting my kids with surprise after surprise but I just finally want to be here for all my kids.

Lexi and I pulled up to Aubrey's house and I had to take a deep breath. This could go well or it could all go left. I pray that it all works out for the best. We got out of the car and went to the door to be greeted by Aubrey himself. Lexi looked a little star struck but she shook it off. When we got into the house Shad Desire Carlos and Kelly were all there. I wanted to wait to tell Carlos and Kelly but I guess there is no time like the present.

"Hey Pops." Shad said to me. They all greeted me and looked at Lexi with a confused look on their faces.

"Who is this?" Kelly asked.

"That's why I am here. Can we all sit down so I can inform you all about Lexi?" I asked taking a seat.

I don't know how they are going to take this but here goes nothing.

"Eva and I got together when we were very young. Something's we just weren't ready for. Your mother had gotten pregnant and when she found out she was already six months. We wanted the best for her and we couldn't give her that so we gave her up for adoption." I said. Before I could continue Desire chimed in.

"Wait so you are about to say that Lexi is it is me and Shad's older sister." She said.

I just shook my head yes. She let out a breath of air and just kinda stared at Aubrey.

"This shit is just getting more and more dramatic by the day. Where has she been all this time?" Shad asked.

"Fuck all that! We have a father aunt cousin's and sister we never knew. I can't take anymore surprises!" Desire yelled.

Aubrey went over to her trying to calm her down. I knew they were overwhelmed with everything but I am glad all my kids are finally together.

Aubrey excused himself and Desire and they left the room. I know she needed a moment to get her thoughts together. Lord and Eva give me strength to handle this all.

Desire

This is all a bunch of bullshit. Now I have a fucking sister that is older than my damn brother. It's like just when you think things are kind of getting back to normal here comes some more extra out of the way shit. I don't need all this stress.

"You alright babe?" Aubrey asked me. I just looked at him for a second cause I almost forgot he was in here with me.

"No Aubrey I'm not alright. I keep finding out everyday about family members that I never knew existed and on top of it all my mother not ever once mentioned that she had another daughter somewhere out there in the world. I can't deny her cause she looks like me and my mother. I don't know how I feel about my parent's lying and keeping secrets my whole life." I said taking a seat.

"Des I get it what you are saying but how do you think Lexi feels. It couldn't have been easy knowing that your mother kept her other two children but not you." Aubrey said.

I didn't even think about it from her point of view. She has to feel hurt just like we do. But it makes me wonder what her motives are being that she was the only one put up for adoption. I don't need no more family members kidnapping me or trying to kill me.
