*Sneak Peak* of Love Lucifer

The man and woman watched the old woman anxiously as she searched the thick binded book. The woman placed her hand on her stomach which held her precious child.

"Please hurry" The man said looking out the window into the dark forest. They were waiting for them.

"Ah here it is..." The old woman skimmed her finger along the words as she read. The young couple sweating with impatience. The old woman was taking too long.

Suddenly the old woman's bony finger froze in place. The couple looked at each other.

"What is it Margaret?" The woman asked. The old woman's head snapped up and locked her one good eye on the two. She began shaking her head violently, along the while muttering the words 'yes' over and over.

"What it it? Tell us!"

The old woman read over the words in the book once more, then stared at the woman's stomach which held the child.

"Cutt it out...kill them..." The couple stumbled back with shock and fear. The man backed his wife behind him and picked up a fire poker in his hand pointing it at the old woman.

"Stay where you are, don't come near us" he threatened.

"Ohhh he has her in his clutches now my darling, what will your God do!?" The old woman cackled uncontrollably.

"You're insane, what are you talking about?" The woman demanded holding her stomach protectively. The old woman leaned in her chair and looked at the couple with eyes filled with excitement.

"The devil has found his wife" She smiled with blackened teeth and leaped forward out of her chair. The man fell to the ground as a knife impaled his skull.

The woman yelled for her husband, and backed up against the wall.

"Please, don't hurt my baby" The woman cried.

The old woman smiled once more. "Oh darling, she won't feel a thing"

The woman fell to the ground as blood poured out of her. She screamed bloody murder as her stomach was being cut open with a non-visible knife.

Soon crying filled the screaming as the baby girl was lifted into the arms of the old woman.

Out of the forest came him, and all of the vile creatures of the night. The old woman stepped outside into the cold, autumn weather and bowed before her king.

"Master" she said.

The man reached down and lifted the small baby out of the old woman's hands. The child stared up at him with curious grey eyes. The man chuckled and wrapped the child in cloth to protect her fragile body from the cold.

He kissed her forehead, which still held her mother's blood.

He roared as a bright light suddenly blinded him, and his creatures of hell rushed back into the dark forest. He looked down at his arms through the burning light and roared once more when he saw them empty.

The light faded away and was replaced with the silent darkness. He looked up the sky glaring at the largest star with malice.

"Heaven will not keep her from me"
