I put a halo over your head.
What I should have done instead,
Is tried to read you.
Karma won't come quick enough
To beat you.
One that plays with hearts.
You aren't very smart.
But I put a halo,
Over you.
Shining bright
Over you,
Guiding light,
Over you.
Showing you.
I put a golden crown
Above your head,
Laying down
Above your head
Saying how
Above your head
It shines.
That won't make you mine.
In fact it made me blind.
Your personality did not match
What was attached.
Your soul did not show
What your head had meant to glow.
So very gullible.
I was,
That indeed needed a fix,
And that you did.
