What is Romance?
Is it two lovers tranced?
Is it ecstasy from freedom
From oppression or depression.
Is Romance when I doubt?
If I doubt Romance, will I find it?
Have those Romantics been blinded?
Is it worth spending time to
Express?
Is Romance the heat in my breath
When I see you step.
Or the race in my heart
When I watch you walk with willing legs.
When I start to think that love is dead.
Will romance renew it?
Am I on the brink of shallow treads?
Can Romance be called love if not too shallow?
If Romance goes as deep
Should we hallow?
Shall we?
Whether or not we can define Romance
Should that stop us from trying to find Romance?
