Phil's POV:
"Anyone here for Kyle Howell-Lester?" The nurse asks.
Dan and I stand up. The nurse smiles and comes towards us. I love how she seems so happy, it makes me feel so much better.
"So Kyle is doing great! We just finished up his stitches. He'll probably be able to go home in the next hour or so. We do have a few requirements, don't let him soak in the bath for a really long time that also means no swimming. Make sure he doesn't lay on his stomach since there is a lot of bruising there...but one other thing."
Dan gives me the look that he doesn't want to find out.
"Before He leaves, he needs more blood, there is a wait list, but that can take a long time...unless it any of you two have type A blood."
"I do..." Dan speaks.
"Great! Would you be willing to give some of yours to Kyle?"
"Of course."
The nurse smiles and gave Dan some paper work to sign. She then took us into a room where Dan sat in a chair that looks like the ones from the dentist. They tied a string around his arm and started to draw blood.
I couldn't even watch as the sight of it made me want to puke.
Once we were done we went to Kyle. He seemed very happy playing with a duck stuffed animal one of the nurses gave him to keep.
"Daddy! Papa!!" Kyle screeched when he saw us. He tried to get out of his bed and comes hug us but some nurses held him back.
I sat next to him and gave him his dinosaur. I love my child.
