       Phil's POV:

I was waiting in the office for the doctor to come talk to me. We sat across from eachother in a small room. "Sir, it looks like the heart that your husband received is, well his body is reject it." He says calmly.
I slowly nod, trying not to cry. "And how do we fix it?"
The doctor pulled out x-rays. "Well it looks like the vital vein is detached, too much flow at once, causing it to burst. Simple open heart surgery should fix it, about a 12 hour operation."
"12 hours? That's longer then the damn heart transplant."
"Yes I understand, sir. But after the surgery, we can give him aspirin to take each night. It will thin his blood and cause blood flow to be more smooth through the veins."
(HI!! I take aspirin every night!)
       "Alright...how much?" I ask.
"We can't do it." He says.
      "Why the fuck not?!"
"Sir, your husband had a habit of drinking for quite a while. We aren't going to risk valuable resources on a patient who might ruin their heart by drinking. We're putting him at the bottom of the list for this surgery."
"And how much to put him at the top?!"
       "800,000 pounds."
Fucking greedy bastards. I was still working a full time job to play the rest of the transplant. Now this?!
