Where Papa?

     Dan's POV
        Chris eventually left. I washed the dishes off after lunch, cleaning up the bread and ham, cheese, and lettuce. Cheese. Cheese...Cheese. Phil never liked cheese...my baby.
        After I was done, I went over to my room to find Kyle playing with his dinosaur and hot wheels.
      "Hey buddy!" I sit next to him. "What are you doing in here?" I ask.
     He looks up with his cute blue eyes and blond hair. Why? Why does have to look so much like a baby Phil?
      "Car!" He points to his cars and smiles.
     "Yes! Car!" I smile.
     I scoot closer to Kyle and put him in my lap. "Baby. I'm sorry for what you had to see yesterday." He looks up at me in silence. "I'm very proud of you for calling someone. You know that right?" Kyle shakes his head no. "Well I am!" I smile and kiss the top of his head.
       "Where Papa?" He asks.
      "Um...he had to see some family." I say.
      "I'm tired!" He rubs his eyes.
      "So am I baby!" I stand up. "Wanna take a nap with me baby?" He smiles and nods.
      "Alright!" I jokingly throw him on the bed. He starts to laugh and roll over to his stomach.
     I climb into bed and grab my cannula. "What that?" Kyle asks.
      "This is called an a cannula!" I smile as I turn on the oxygen.
     "Why daddy have it?"
     I tie the cannula around my head. Still not suppose to sleep without it. "Because before I adopted you, daddy got in a really bad car crash. And he needs this to help him breathe when he is asleep!" Why am I speaking in 2nd person to him? "And I used to have monitors, but they're gone!"
      "Cool!" I would say different but he is six.
    "Want your shirt off?" I ask.
   He smiles and nods. I help take his shirt off and get him under the covers. He crawls close to me and nuzzles his head into my stomach.
